Ezra

Is this the first Rebel ship to not get the Target Lock action?

It seems like Ezra might almost make Elusiveness and Flight Instructor decent choices. Have Ezra take an Evade action, when he gets attacked force a reroll with Elusiveness, get the stress token to make Eyeballs into evades, if he's being attacked by something at PS 1 or 2 he can reroll a blank.

He'd still be way better off with Lone Wolf if you can keep him clear of the rest of your ships.

From what they said, I don't think any of the assault shuttles get it. But yes this will be the first rebel ship to not have that action.

Oddly enough that makes the action bar look like a Tie Fighter.

Juke or Lone Wolf. TLT, autoblaster and dorsal are all good turret options. Crew options are so dial-dependent it's hard to say.

As someone who grew up in the 90s, I need to some up with some Better Than Ezra jokes that nobody but me will get.

Stop desperately wanting to make the 90s relevant again.

The whole card is very TIE Fighter-ish, aside from the two shields.

Or move to Portland...

Grunge lists will be a thing!!

But in the meantime...

What can I say? It's In the Blood.

Good.

Surprised no one mentioned Ezra + PtL + Kanaan. 26 points, but turret and Mod open. F/BR + Evade each turn and turning on his ability, and Kanaan helps take care of the stress.

Obviously, if the dial doesn't need it, Kanaan may be superfluous.

Ezra + PTL + int agent

easy to include at 24, irritating as all goddamn hell for your opponent

I just realized that Erza would make the best blocker ever, and would do all the damage in base to base.

Then I realized that this is Ezra...

So, the Rookie Pilot has to pay one more point for one extra hull and Target Lock, but loses the Pilot ability, the PS of 4, the Evade, the Barrel Roll and the EPT.

Maybe the dial will balance it?

I dunno I'm thinking you may be better off keeping the shuttle docked unless the ghosts about to die, you might roll two focus when defending but more likely you won't and its fragile and a low ps.

The only way it balances is if it shares a dial with the 'other' shuttle.

Do I see that you can put a turret & crew on this ship? I can see many possibilties. It can truly be a pest.

It's not the first Turret and Crew ship. Not even the first Rebel Turret and Crew small base ship.

Not to mention the fact that the Phantom's crew/turrent/ept upgrades could be applied to the Ghost while docked.

You have a 5/8 chance of getting either a focus or evade result on a given defense die. It's no more fragile than Jake Farrell, especially if you take PTL on Ezra to get an evade token every round. For three more points, you can put a Hull Upgrade on him to give him X-Wing durability. For another four points on top of that, you can give him Chewbacca Crew.

At 30 points, that's effectively a 3/2/4/3 statline on a PS4 pilot with evade. You could also give him C3PO instead of Chewbacca, which might be even more annoying.

it is, however, the cheapest turret and crew ship that doesn't suck :P

poor HWK :(

the irony is, however, that with an actually good primary weapon attack it gets far less use out of that turret than a HWK/Y/K would

See, I keep looking at it and thinking I would run it without the Ghost entirely. The Attack Shuttle is very aggressively costed

That's not a fact. it's speculation that goes against what we know about docked ships.

What is the justification for the turret on the attack shuttle, other than classic Rebel bias? As far as I've seen in Rebels, the only turret on the Ghost is the dorsal turret
