The Ghost!
A 'Special' arc is different from an Auxiliary Arc.
Was somebody suggesting otherwise earlier in the thread?
It looks a LOT like the Phantom.
All will be clear on the insert I'm sure.
That would be fine too. Havnt seen an enhanced pic yet but others claimed it looked like a torpedo so...It looks a LOT like the Phantom.
All will be clear on the insert I'm sure.
Hera has no EPT - this makes me sad.
no putting expose on it for a base 5 attack
Yeah, that might be a tad hideous.

This mechanic may be used in the future though with one-use-only upgrades like a rear firing HLC.

Are we sure it isn't Big, Bold, and Beautiful Hera?
Better to call here something like this
She can get really angry.
And...from another thread
The first person to describe a loaded ghost as a 'Fat Hera' is probably gonna get his face slapped with lekku.
And pushed out an airlock by a psychotic astromech.

But I only remember seeing a couple Druids using these probe and Chopper is a different model than R2. Chopper even has extra appendages that act like arms and an actual large wheel for a center drive that he can drive and balance on. Heck, Chopper could be a modified like the Ghost is for all we know.
Force Weilding Knights with Lightsabers able to cross a Galxay in less time than it would take to drive across the country and this bothers you?
That bugs me every time. there's nothing on that claw that looks like it'd connect and interface. And why is he always using his claws instead of an actual scomp probe? Just weird.
I think they have the technology for nano-connections built into it.
It's a question of consistency. We expect probe-like attachments from astromechs being used to plug into a computer because that's what R2 has done in like every movie. When chopper uses a very obvious claw attatchment it's almost like R2 using his periscope to weld something, it's possible but it doesn't 'look' right.
Also the writers for the Rebels are the same ones that worked on the Clone Wars and they worked very closely with the source material because they are bigger Star War nerds than we are. They also worked next to George Lucas throughout out the making of the Clone Wars which lasted a number of years, so I think they know the Star Wars Canon better than we do since they are writing some of the Canon and they have to work closely with the rest of the Canon now. Disney is not letting writers create anything now, they need to collaborate with each other before it is signed off.
But that is my take on it and I am going by the fact the EU is not a reliable source anymore. Rebels is Star Wars now and everything in it is Vetted Canon now.
Answer could also be "cause while being even fun for adults, it is a children's show foremost".
Since when can you be in a TIE flying in outer space without a spacesuit? These craft where described as having no lifesupport.
Being on Fort Anaxes the series got the fast sunrises/sunsets by the other asteroids right, and the perspective. But our heroes neither here need any life support. They should die form suffocation, radiation and cold.
Then it is even normal gravity on this asteroid....
But ignoring this, it is fun too watch, clearly space fantasy.

Oops sorry about that, posted before I wrote anything,
I'll agree that everything on Rebels is cannon, as to how well it's vetted may be a matter of opinion. Even editors make mistakes in continuity of most any show, now that have to check the holocron and should be discussing new tech and characters as well.

Artificial gravity generators and atmosphere/terraforming equipment might be standard on asteroid outposts. Han and crew seemed to be doing just fine inside the belly of a space slug inside an asteroid too.
So basically Rebels is saying the 'facts' about TIEs having no life support are just lies. It seems a bit silly to keep propagating such things when it's clear that TIEs are spacious, relatively comfortable for the pilots and have ejection mechanisms. Imperial pilots appear to have been valued after all.
I hope I don't sound too much like BKL though.
Hey, just had a thought. FCS on a Ghost seems autoinclude due to its possibility for 3 attacks with TLT. Might this give Han Crew a place? How many times have you spent that lock on Eyeballs and gotten more Eyeballs or blanks? Adds some versatility to those free locks and opens your standard action for a boost or evade.
Thoughts? Or am I shooting the moon to find uses for useless cards...

Only going to get 2 attacks. But FCS is a great card, I prefer it over AdvSen on B-Wings myself, and it's even better when you can get a 2nd attack in that round. It's fairly popular on Corran for that reason, being able to double tap every round makes it an even better choice.

3 attacks with TLT. Your first attack is not required to be a primary.
shooting the moon
Han isn't worth half of r2-d2

oh I see, sure if you attack with the TLT first.

Tie fighters still have to be sealed. Even if the suit did all the life support stuff, not being sealed would make atmosphere to space transitions very difficult.
The trunk of a car has enough air for a person sealed in it to be okay for longer than one would expect.
I think people are dismissing the torpedo slot to quickly. I'm thinking of Ion Torpedo. Remember, it does 4 red dice....still does the damage, and if it hits, it ionizes the target and everyone at R1. So....4 red dice and +1 ion damage...then +1 ion damage and going 1 straight next turn.
I see:
FCS, Ion Torp, Ion Projector, and Enhanced Scopes.
FCS - if possible to use before the Torp. This way you get the Focus to use on the attack. Or...Garven/Kracken/other can give his Focus over to ensure you can modify the dice.
Ion Torp - fire into a group of ships....like a Tie Swarm.
This makes a group of massed ships easy to know where they will be. Make sure to use Ion Projector on your Ghost. Go with a low PS pilot or even Enhanced Scope to make sure you go first. Position your ship right where they will bump. Go 1 forward every round to force a bump. They have to go 1 forward due to ionization. You can kill ships without even firing at them!
OK...that's an extreme case, but still....Ion Torpedoes are very viable on the Ghost. It does 4 red dice damage and it can splash Ion around. Facing several small ships? That one is fantastic.
Would a Kyle/Kanan Combo be enough to get folks to leave Goldenrod off the Falcon?

Chewbacca (42)Push the Limit (3)Kyle Katarn (3)Kanan Jarrus (3)Millennium Falcon (1)Total: 52Three actions every turn, one of which has to be focus. Works on the ENTIRE dial minus the K-turns. Allows evade and TL, Focus every turn.
I love the PtL/Kyle/Chewie combo anyway, but every white manoeuvre every turn? Absolute madness. Toss on an Engine Upgrade and you've got my vote. The remaining 44 points can offer a lot of options too, from a cheap Ghost (I mean, probably) to three A-Wings to a very solid Miranda.
Oh, Ezra has no EPT, so his ability will only come in when someone stresses him or he does a red maneuver.

That's a solid thought.
How about giving Hera Adv Sensors, Zeb crew, and Ion torps? Here is a list I came up with that is quirky, but holy smokes it just might work.
Hera Syndulla (40)
Advanced Sensors (3)
Autoblaster Turret (2)
Ion Torpedoes (5)
"Zeb" Orrelios (1)
Dash Rendar (2)
Engine Upgrade (4)
Ghost (0)
Lieutenant Blount (17)
Veteran Instincts (1)
XX-23 S-Thread Tracers (1)
Ezra Bridger (20)
Elusiveness (2)
Autoblaster Turret (2)
Phantom (0)
Total: 100

He has an EPT.
I mean I'm blind.
Zeb would be bad if you are bumping a formation. It means they would all get to shoot at you.
Also, Enhanced Scopes would let you go before the swarm, but it might not be needed. It would be easier, though.
