Isn't it the other way, don't you want her to not pay? I suspect it will be 35 points base (34 minimum). It seems fair to be 2 pts more than a Firespray based on attack dice alone.

I highly doubt that the generic VCX is less than 34 pts.

it's less survivable than 2 Bs, and comes on a big fat, easily targeted base

plus, if the dial's shite, it's not something that's going to warrant spamming

She is a space Mom and that's exactly what she will be referred to as in general terms I think. Fully loaded she is as phat or phatter than a Phat Han.

Made me think of Big Mommas House for some reason and it isnt just a derivative of another lists name. Be interesting to see what name ends up sticking for the loaded Hera archetype.

Ghost and tactician question:

Does the rear special arc count when Phantom is not docked? When it is docked you have the capacity to triple stress a target at range two. TLT for your normal attack and then again at the end of the phase. (At least three stress and maybe four depending on the ruling about TLT attacks)

As I read the cards, the special arc of the VCX exists even if the Phantom has not docked. So effects that require the victim to be 'in arc' work regardless of whether the Phantom has docked, or even regardless of whether you have the Ghost title...right? This is less of an issue because the Ghost cannot equip EPTs or astromechs, but still.

This is possible, but it would be in the rules with the Ghost expansion, and it would kind of contradict the words on the card, which says: "...the Ghost can perform primary weapon attacks from its special firing arc", suggesting that the arc is already in place, or already 'existing' if you will. As it is, it looks like the arc is there without a weapon actually using it.

Regardless of the fact whether Sabine replaces Torpedoes for bombs or simply gives a Bomb slot it makes it so that the Rebels and Imperials have an equal number of ships that can use bombs, with the Rebels potentially gaining it on more ships than the Imperials. If it is torpedo based then she makes it so the B-wing can take bombs. Whereas if it crew based then the following gain the ability too:

YT-1300

HWK-290

YT-2400

GR-75

CR-90

Where the Empire can use them on the Firespray, Tie Bomber, and Tie Punisher. Granted she may be limited to being used on large ships or just the VCX to prevent this matter.

It will be interesting what the ruling is on arcs for tactian.

Dorsal Turret is great on BTL-A4 Y-Wing. And it's nice for Palob and Torkil to align with their abilities. Otherwise, fairly mediocre. Generic HWKs and Ys without title aren't anything special

Kanan seems a bit too good. There are a lot of combos. It just seems too generous to Rebels. Turns an Xwing dial into Aggressor dial (sans sloop). The range, crew slot, and cost are not major drawbacks. I see this bring a big deal.

BBW Hera

I'm fairly certain the symbol on the special arc will have a token to place with the Ghost while Phantom is docked or that it's a weapons disabled token that you cover. Of course there will be rules to it. I'm confident it will not count as an arc without a docked shuttle.
