They made an error calling the phantom the first ship to arrive without a non unique pilot.
The second ship in the Ghost Expansion Pack is the attack shuttle, a worthy addition to any Rebel squadron. The attack shuttle offers three attack, two agility, two shields, and two hull, as well as the focus, evade, and barrel roll actions. Notably, it is also the first Rebel ship for X-Wing Standard Play that comes without the acquire target lock action and the first ship in X-Wing for any faction to arrive without a non-unique pilot.

Yup, noticed that immediately myself.
So the Phantom only has attack 3, but lets the Ghost shoot attack 4 from the rear "special" arc. I guess it pumps more power out of those rear facing guns when docked. Twin Laser turret on this thing is going to be sick.

Hera has no EPT - this makes me sad.
Dorsal turret is the opposite of what I expected. Overall cost of the ships and upgrades is lower than I expected as well.

Some really nice upgrades in this pack as well. Kanan could be useful in a number of builds, and the dorsal turret will find a home on Y's, HWK's, ect... The Reinforced Deflectors is nice on something with a ton of hull. But since it's a system the Ghost is the only ship I can see taking it.
Zeb... for 1 point he could be useful on large ships to prevent them from being blocked.
I'd think Dorsal Turret has just officially killed the Blaster Turret. Other than I'm not buying 5 Ghosts....

She's already 40 points with a pretty sick pilot ability. Throwing an EPT on her would be insane.

It's a system slot. You're giving up a lot to get it, and how many large ships get system slots? Shuttles, Aggressors? Aggressors won't ever take it because they rarely take 3 damage, and it's not worth losing FCS or Advanced Sensors. Shuttles might, but so what?
And that shuttle is a mean little ship. I'm gonna PTL the crap out of Ezra.

How often are you suffering 3 or more damage from a single attack? Also, its a system upgrade, meaning it only works on the Ghost, IG-2000, and the Lambda Shuttle.

Kanan is such a great synegizer. He is going to be fun. And Zeb is great if you want to try to ram stuff as well. Him and Intimidate to make a ramming YT sounds fun.
And I love Reinforce Deflectors on the Shuttle. Really helps against those big hits. I don't see Iggy needing it though.
I think Dorsal Turret kills the Blaster Turret depending on the situation. The 3 Atk at Range 2 is a nice counterpoint, imo. Kavil is going to love the Dorsal Turret, though.

The Shuttle. Reinforced Deflectors are going to be huge on the shuttle.
We better get some dials in Part II. If the dial is awesome on the Phantom I could see Ezra w/ PTL being a menace. 23 points for a 3 attack ship with a lot of durability.

IG-2000 can disagree all it wants, they're right when they specify the first rebel ship without any generics

It's only really useful on ships that have very low agility and are likely to actually take three or more damage from an attack. The Ghost fits that criteria. The Lambda might be able to use it. But you'd be crazy to take it on something like IG-88.
And yeah, Dorsal Turret has fully killed the Blaster Turret. Kavil's going to love that thing.
Zeb's so restricted that I doubt he'll ever see play.

So first a 4 dice forward shot, then a 3 dice aft shot... THEN a turret shot? And With Zeb on board so you can't even move into blocking position and avoid the turret?
