I loved the props from that era - the vehicles, the creatures, the landscapes, the droids.

I hated amost everything else - the characters, the story, the scenes, the battles, heck the names. The prequel era was around the time I stopped watching movies as much as I used to - might have a connection

I liked some books, especially Darth Plagueis. Great book, made me enjoy episode one in a weird way.

Probably not. Its more likely that Boba still has Slave 1 in the new TFA canon, because it is iconic and looks better.

I personaly never liked the idea of Boba giving up Slave 1.

JK, I actually like the look of the Slave 2 more than the Slave 1. Slave one looks like you put the Space Shuttle on the launch pad, and then when you ignited the rocket it started just flying sideways despite the ship pointing upwards.

Slave 2 flies the same way as Salve 1 doesn't it? That thing on the front is an antenna i believe.

Honestly the only awful thing out of Dark Empire was the plot. It's easily one of the best pieces when it comes to design-work that actually looks "Star Wars".

Did the Azzameen missions OK, played fine to start with, but soon as the Rebel tour of duty started, the poor old frame rate just couldn't keep up.

You still have the old copy? Download a newer version, it works fine. Add some new skins to upgrade that and have fun.

Its one thing to object to the decisions a commanding officer makes for hiring bounty hunters. Its a completely diffrent matter in dark empire, thet called fett for a job, he refused the job because they demanded he work for free, after refusing agian they force choke him. The only way he escapes after firing killing a imperial.

The imperials left alive made it clear they would be dealing with fett at a later point in time.

By this point fett is more likely to work for the new republic than the reborn emperor's empire.

That mission if I remember I also had to do some ELS screwing around a fair bit. Of course, ELS screwing about is the difference between mediocre and ace in those games.
