Yes I can see it as well, drive home one strait at them, support with three projection frigates to the rear (including redemption) engineer everything every round and watch those shoots bounce of the 9 shields per turn you regenerate on home one...... Scream vader scream......
oh projection experts, what am I to do with you?

I never considered projection experts since it implied I'd have to devote one ship to resupplying another. I'd rather have that other ship fighting and not losing it's shields. *shrug*

You're thinking too small here.
Lead with B-Wings. Have them protected by YT-1300s. Have those being fed Brace tokens by Jan. Use Gallant Haven to protect all of those squadrons. Trail Gallant Haven with Home One equipped with Projections experts to keep Gallant Haven alive. Follow that up with Redemption further boosting the repairs.
Now drive straight right across the table.
I never considered projection experts since it implied I'd have to devote one ship to resupplying another. I'd rather have that other ship fighting and not losing it's shields. *shrug*
Projection Experts has two great things going for it. First, it allows you to repair 2 shields on a ship on a different ships activations. This is HUGE. One of my lead ships goes first. Then the enemy goes and attacks that ship. I can now activate my projection ship to repair 2 shields on the already activated ship. This can be the difference between alive and dead if the enemy continues to attack that ship. Furthermore, it allowed the first ship to not take an engineering token but some action more useful, but it still gets repaired this turn.
The second thing it does is essentially give the repaired ship 4 extra engineering rating for a turn. And it does so to a ship you know needs the help. It's rarely wasted. The ship doing the giving continues to fight normally. If the enemy attacks the PE ship, it already has engineering tokens lined up for quick repair and it means they're not attacking Yavaris or something else more important.
Nebulon B support refit
+ Mon Mothma
+ Raymus Antilles
+ Projection experts
+ Slaved turrets
(108 points)
This ship:
- hangs at the back, but that's okay - it can contribute 4 red dice at long range if it needs to.
- Generates 4+2 engineering points per turn. This is enough to transfer it's rear 2 shields to another ship, then regenerate them afterwards.
- Has MM to keep her safely away from the other fighting ships, in the rear with the gear.
- Is defensively boosted by MM's evade upgrade.
at 108 points for a neb-B it is very expensive and I know people are going to cry 'turd', but add in the following and it becomes much better all of a sudden:
CR90A + Turbolaser reroute circuits
CR90A + Turbolaser reroute circuits
CR90B + SW7 ion cannons
MC30 + Foresight
sprinkling of fighters to taste
What if you take 2 medical frigates (WOW. So cool. Literally medics for ships.) and used them to boost 3 more Nebs: Yavaris, Salvation, and 1 Escort. Between Yavaris and Escort you can be putting 4Bs with the firepower of 6Bs in your opponents face.
Also, hey, its a 5 Neb list.. For you crazy red-headed step-mother-F#$%ers.
--
The three front frigates are supposed to get in there and get shot up. That's how I beat my opponent's Neb + 3Bs. Shooting down Yavaris. Now imagine using the other two nebs to block side shots and lobbing frontal shots like candy. 3 Neb firepower + 6Bs should wipe stuff out.

The two side ones protect Yavaris' flanks. Also help you get easily get 4 squadron commands in a turn. Looking at 6B activations. You also have some AA fire there from Yavaris.
Just behind these three are the 2 rear guard medical frigates, Redemption and Escort with Projection.
They spam Engineering to heal up the front 3 Nebs. They also by being behind, give you two volleys of fire power. (I'd put them behind and slightly to each flank. like this: _`-`_
Obviously the two no-no bomber objectives suck, so they should take Contested Outpost. Fine. Be first player, set up around it.
If they are going max squadrons. Well, that's tough. Keep the Bs close and attacking squadrons. Use the 2 AA from the Escorts to shoot down the squadrons.
Move slowly, so that attacking into your 5 Neb front line is a bad idea. And then horrednously hard to turn around away from the edge if they're going fast.
Tada, entire battle plan.

Honestly, imo. I think your list is better too. Looks much scarier.

Wait a few days, ya "might" have one arriving in the mail
It's a great card. I've been using an ISD kitted out with two glads following with projection experts. With tarkin the ISD just sits in the fray while the glads throw four shields a turn at it. With its own engineer spam it gets a total of seven shields a turn.... It's a zombie of unkillableness
I played a fleet like that. It was quite annoying until I got a crit through (in the process flatting all it's shields) Certainly kept it alive and out of hull damage for a while.
Guess what Capacitor Failure on the ISD does to it?
Thanks Dodonna. ![]()

That'll be the closest we've come to ep 6's kamakazi A-Wing. Knowing how Star Wars works, that pilot's probably got a book trilogy and their own breakfast cereal.
It's easy:
Neb support
Redemption
Projection dudes
Raymus Antilles
With the Command and Raymus you get 6 engineering points; 2 to send two shields away, and 4 to repair the shields you just sent. It's something like 72 points for a self-contained ship that you can hide in the middle of all your other ones. I think projection experts is one of the coolest things to happen to armada yet!
After much thought, I think I will give this an outing next week:
frigates r'us (400)
Neb b support, projection experts, MM (87)
Neb b support, projection experts, redemption (65)
MC 30 torpedo, APT, foresight (76)
MC 30 torpedo, APT (68)
Assault frigate mk2 B, (72)
1 HWK (12)
2 Ywings (20)
With: most wanted, hyperspace assault, minefields.
Any thoughts ?

Good try, but you're weak to squadrons there. Really weak. None of your ships have 2AA and Ys and a HWK aren't gonna kill more than maybe 2A/Xs whatever.
If its a swarm of fighters, you're gonna die.
If not, they just ignore the two. They don't look menacing to me.
I'd recommend dropping the AF to a CR. Gives you about 30 points to add a defensive upgrade to the other shrimp and upgrade the fighters to something anti squadron. 3As?

Thanks for the input, I think your right on the the fighters, and if I was going further than my local club I would play a GP fighter wing (a wings, HWK and xwing) but the present local meta Is bomber weak, and most people just run a few screening fighters, so I tend not to over concern myself with fighters, just a pure bomber wing to help weaken the target ship or kill of a lame duck.
I know the assault frigate does not sit well in the list (I just wanted all the frigates in one list)
So thing on what you said I'm going to remove the AFB and bomber wing which gives me 104 points:
Then buy:
Admonition title for other MC30
Neb B escort with Yavaris
3 Awing's ( or maybe 2 Awings and a HWK) ?

You don't need to remove entirely. But yeah, dropping to another Neb or CR might give you some points. And hey 5 ships and a CR. Works pretty well for number of ships and going first.
