Next week we are running a short escalation might, first game is 65 Points using 2 small based ships and next game is 3 small based ships at 100 points but you have to use your 65 point build in it. So I have an imperial and a Rebel idea I'm working on and would like some help and feedback. Thanks!

Keep in mind I only have one Advance title I traded for but I pretty much have everything non epic ( I do have the Rebel transport though) and I'm expecting a good amount of 35 pt Soontirs filling the gap the second game and atleast one or two dual advance 65 point builds and some Y TLTs

VI Vader (act eu) makes Soontir cry and also comes to 35 pts so I'd keep that in mind too. Moving after Fel with two reposition actions available and a high chance of landing a crit when you shoot.. Hell for 35pts that's exactly what ship I'd be adding in one of those 35pt slots.

Note I've never played escalation though.

That does sound good because I'm sure the imperial players will be thinking Soontir to fill the perfect 35 point gap I like it, it does make me drop Maarek though cause I only have one title.

Hmmmm, so the VI Vader is most likely in because I'm pretty much guaranteed to fight atleast one or two Soontirs(small group of people playing) but now I gotta figure out the other two. A Soontir of my own would be nice but there's still the 30 point gap if I go that route...of only I had one more advance title.

So the imperial version is in progress any ideas on rebels? I like options! I have yet to fly a T-70 yet that's why Poe is there and I've been wanting to try this version of Tycho for a while just thinking of a third ship. I'm not looking at my cards or a squad builder at the moment but if there's enough points maybe a TLT YWing? Also which Astro on Poe; BB-8 or R5-P9?

Or I could take Tycho out and put in a Y Wing with TLT R2 Astro and maybe an engine or shield upgrade. That way I could field Poe fully modded first round with the Y Wing equipped with TLT only then introduce the Ys upgrades and Jake Round two. Or even swap Jake and Poe round wise for a serious bid first round hah.

And haha over 100 views and 5/7 comments are me hahah.

Shenanigans Poe is great fun but hates to be focus fired, fly him carefully. But he can do some crazy things.

I'd swap stealth on him for autothrusters. Not a fan of stealth device unless you already have 3 agility. I just don't see it staying active long enough on a T70. Also saves you a point.

Additionally, outmanoeuvrer on Jake. It does boost his output a little bit I still always fly him with PTL for Soontir levels of action economy. He gets his own pseudo push from his ability so I think outmanoeuvrer or something else instead of PtL is personal preference but that same ability that lets you get away with not having PtL absolutely shines with it. He becomes the only A wing that can boost and barrel roll in the same turn.

My (zero escalation experience) take on your rebel list;

First round...

Poe with PTL BB8 AT. 38pts

Jake with PTL Refit AT 27pts

65 pts.

Round 2...

Add in Tycho exactly as you have him above.

Add title and VI to Jake

Leaves list at 96pts which lets you add weapons guidance back on to Poe and have a 2pt initiative bid which with so many high PS pilots could be very important.

Alright so Rebel list is basically set! Again! Soooooooo Imperials!

35 Pt VI Vader (VI, Title, ATC, EU)

Looking for a 30 point ship to finish off the list, reminder I only have 1 Advance title or a second advance would be in there! I need a 30 pointer to make it a 100 point list and to put in the 65 pt list with one of the others.

Shame no large base as soon shuttle would be nice.

Omega Ace with PTL at 23pts leaves 7pts for flavour and initiative bid.

Turr with VI and AT is 28 so 2pts initiative bid.

Omega could be nice as he will be shooting after the aces. Legs them strip shields so he can land his crits against hull. Turr gives you 11 9 9 PS which is handy and with the 2pt bid you have reasonable chance at having Turr and Fel move last.

I was thinking Omega with PtL and Shield Upgrade but Turr also sounds good thanks for the help!
