As the title says. Just for getting out of a tight spot, pop Glitterstim, receive a stress, discard Cool Hand and take an evade. Could be a useful alternative for IGs and maybe other scum ships.

That actually sounds surprisingly solid. Cool Hand only triggers when you get stress, it doesn't have to go off at any specific moment in the turn order, so it sounds like it will work.... both are one time use, but that should be fine. It sounds like a solid use of 3 points.
I agree that it sounds nice, but I don't think Cool Hand quite beats out Crack Shot for 1 point discard upgrades. We all know that offense (FOREVER) > defense in this system.
... You know, that gives you a Soontir-stack of tokens for one turn, in addition to whatever other tokens you already took.
I see it mostly being useful on Agressors... but it sure could be useful on Aggressors.

Well sure, but "Shoot at someone other than me" is a bad choice when you'd expected a ship to be toast for a round, right? ![]()
In fact, you can literally get yourself a Soontir-level stack of defense (1 Evade and a fistful of Focus defense) on an Aggressor that just got bumped. If said bump was part of a cunning trap... this could be an excellent deal indeed.
'Course, I tend to just take Inertial Dampers and try to avoid taking that much fire to begin with, but that's not automatically the best choice. ![]()
