PTL users really like having green hard 2s to keep using PTL regularly. Regular TIE doesn't have them, so it's hard to justify. You're stuck with banks any turn after you PTL, which often means a ways turn. (Not even considering there's no great TIE ace to load up upgrades into like Soontir, nor boost for maneuvering, etc.) The only other PTL users with banks are large bases with Turrets, who care less about turning max each turn.

Advanced Sensors has little to do with it, most of the time.

advanced sensors on SuperHorn for example allow one to barrel-boost before a green bank, or most likely just barrel+bank allowing for real "poledancer" turns in a place.

B-wings can make epic turns, ending BEHIND their start position using Adv Sensors.

PTL+sensors=free of stress for the next turn.

Ooh, Corran is a good PtL user with no hard greens. That's mostly because of R2-D2 and Engine Upgrade though. FCS is usually preferred on him over Advanced Sensors. Again, it's not because of the Advanced Sensors that make PtL meta on him. You're welcome to fly that ace B-Wing+PtL+AS list though.

B-Wings, in my experience, don't have enough actions to use PTL efficiently.

Give him a Jan Ors crew in the relative proximity, and that's a different story, but otherwise he and Ibtisam prefer Elusiveness (shockingly).
