I think we'll see a Bespin small box before an Endor big box. Ugnaughts for scum? Lobot hero? Imperial navy guys? And a Lando Blister, I'd be down.

Anyway guys, about that scum big box expansion, I've noticed another trend. Each expansion loosely corresponds with an OT movie.
Twin Shadows- A New Hope. Tatooine, Star Destroyers, the only big difference was time period and Boba Fett as a main villain.
Return to Hoth- The Empire Strikes Back. Hoth is one of the most memorable planets from the film. Once again the only difference is Time Period.
? - Return of the Jedi
People could say Tatooine is also apart of Return of the Jedi, but the scenes from Tatooine mostly involve Jabba the Hutt and the scum theme. They might choose something closer to Endor, or they might choose this. We'll see.
Bit more than that.
Both the core set (big box) and Twin Shadows are New Hope/Tatooine focused, while Return to Hoth (big box) is Empire focused. A lot of people (including CheapCreep, it seems) think there will be a small box Bespin expansion, then a big box Endor campaign and a small box that goes back to Tatooine and does Jabba related stuff.
My guess:
Dagobah Small Box
Bespin Big Box Christmas 2016
Jabba's Palace Small Box
Endor Big Box Christmas 2017
My guess:
Dagobah Small Box
Bespin Big Box Christmas 2016
Jabba's Palace Small Box
Endor Big Box Christmas 2017
Naboo 2018?
Yavin 4 big box
Death Star small box
Virtually all of these seem way too narrow and focused on the movies.

I don't think so, they're mostly just types of environments that can be used for multiple locations. Endor and Dagobah would just be extensions of the forest/jungle type setting (as would areas of Naboo), Jabba's Palace internals could be re-used as, say, low levels on Coruscant or Nas Shadar (and Bespin could be used as high levels on them).
I'm just here hoping for Bespin, but I admit it would be challenging to write in our heroes without mucking with he movie at all.
Still, Lando FTW!

I'm not talking about terrain, I'm talking about the sorts of things (read, deployment cards) applicable to the game you'd find there.
Edited by NorgrathMy prediction:
Next small box: Bespin and Dagobah
Next big box: Tattooine (Sarlaac & Jabba's Palace) and Endor
Next small box: Death Star II and Imperial bunker.
Next big box: Jakku and whatever else we see in Force Awakens

My problem with Tattooine and Endor is we don't need yet more desert and forest.

Not really. After the empire takes control of bespin they set up a base of operations and garrison the place. Rebel high command figures that, between a brand new base that isn't familiar with the locale and hasn't worked out the bugs in security yet, and lando's security codes and the back doors he no doubt put into the software, this is the perfect opportunity for a team to infiltrate an imperial base and access some good intel from the bases com system.

As far as Tattooine goes, I'm really just picturing the Sarlaac for outdoor areas. Jabba's Palace would just be new indoor areas that would be more castle-like.
Endor is more problematic, but you can't really do Jedi without it. The foliage and terrain is definitely thicker than that found on Yavin, so maybe it would feature more blocking terrain and dirt over grass?

How about: let's not do Jedi.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is any way around it

And of course Lando isn't gonna just trust anybody with his backdoor codes! He's gotta tag along himself, cause Bespin was his baby. And to add thickness to the gravy, the Intel they need is the telemetries to see if Slave 1 went straight to Tatooine, or if they can ambush and recover Han somewhere else along the way.
Brilliant, man. I would play the ***** outta that mission.

I'll second that. I don't think we'll see another Tatooine box, we already have so many side missions for that planet. I could see more tiles for Endor, but it should be done as a small box expansion that comes with Death Star II. It's not as though we need much more, the Throne room, maybe some more hallways. As for Endor, all we need is some more forest tiles without ruins, and maybe some tree huts.
Bit of a necro but I wanted to see people's thoughts:
Is it possible that they won't make Bossk (and Greedo) because their model and theme is already covered by trandoshan hunters and hired guns respectively?
Well, we got Chewbacca and Wookie warriors both, so we might get Bossk, but I doubt we'll get Greedo as he's already dead at the time the game takes place (currently, I dont know anything about prequel Greedo)
(is prequel Greedo even a thing?)

Greedo appears in one episode of Clone Wars *shrug* but remember ANH is probably at the end of TP 2. I also think Chewie is less like the wookie warriors than Bossk would be the trandoshan hunters.
I sure hope that we'd get a Greedo, but when seeing the Hired Guns I also felt that was very Greedo'esque. I could see Bossk going in any direction. I don't have a clue what he's about. In swccg he can capture people. Perhaps he could play Hunter cards as a free action? This is still the one issue I have with scum, that I only have really expensive models to use my Hunter cards on, compared to say smugglers and leaders especially.
I'm sure we'll get get Bossk. He's gotta be more popular thanDengar
than Dengar, plus trandoshans are the wookies arch nemesises. So he could easily been included in a kashyyk mission/campaign.
Greedo seems less likely a possibility. The hired guns already personify him alot and being stuck in ONLY time period 1 and 2 really hurts his cross expansion playability and value.
Also we already have a mission on Sulust, its called Generous Donations and uses the jungle tiles. I'm not 100% sure on that planet's geography, but since most planets in Star Wars have a single worldwide climate... I'd wager FFG messed up.
I'd say Bossk is more likely mainly because of how early in the trilogy Greedo was offed.

I agree with Patrick - I'd be very surprised if we don't get Bossk, I wouldn't be that surprised if we don't get Greedo. Which is odd, given that Greedo actually speaks in the film that he's in, but there was never an implication that he was big time, whereas Bossk was one of those picked by Vader.
The bigger question is will we get HK-47, or are the generic HKs all we get?
