Last one for the year: Ion Cannons!
Do recall that SW-7s are only Blue accuracy Icons. The Red accuracy Icons do not add Damage.
You are just better off turning Blue Accs to Damage and aiming to get Red Accs... Which is what I think you were saying at the end, but it wasn't quite spelled out as such to me...

What I was trying to say, and I think I worded it badly, was that you can use SW7s to do damage with blues, and still have a decent shot of using Red accuracies in your roll - especially with Home One on the board too.
Thats what I thought. It just took me a few readings to get it that way... So I thought I'd pop that up 
Its a great article, regardless... Even if I don't agree with all points - that's always the fun part of it.
I never say that the points I make are good, or that I'd even willingly take them into battle. But I always try to brainstorm out ways that cards can work together, or why on earth you'd ever consider taking X card on Y ship, because you technically can.
Sometimes it even makes me consider using a card in a new way. Then I put together a fun list and Audere1882 shows me why it was a terrible idea.
Often it means staring at my stack of cards and a calculator, trying to figure out how to fit in everything I want to do into 400 points. Scrapping it. And going back to playing something I've done already.
