Hell must of frozen over...

The company that doesn't do sales is doing a sale, of course in typical GW fashion the discount is less that you could get from third party sellers.

Guess AoS tanked harder than anyone thought.

I'm genuinely looking forward to the deathwatch game (and might still get BaC).

I just got rid of anything GW related in my possession and sent it all to the place any GW related material deserves to be, the local landfill. I look forward to the day when GW is just a memory.

On the other hand they released another 100+ model. Who has that kind of money?

Man, Archaon can't get a break can he? He destroyed the warhammer world in the name of chaos, then conquered 7/8th of the bs AOS realms...and his horsy gets all the upgrades? Ahahhaaa!

Yeah how do you even transport a model like that? They seem bent on making ever bigger models with no idea how much we don't want em.

People played wfb to fight with infantry not what ever that is, they don't ask what people want which is why we get more big kits you can't use anywhere but home.

Since when does GW listen to their customers? ;)

They don't hence the death spiral.

and yet Battle for Calth and Deathwatch, and remaking the specialist games.

All 3 are good moves.

Time will tell if they are enough.

Forge world designed the bac game and the plastics are designed on their resin designs no credit to GW there.

Specialist games would of been good pre AoS, now too many vets are angry and won't buy into anything GW branded again, also armada and halo fleet already fill gothic niche, dzc has epics place, frostgrave has mordheim covered.

When specialist games were popular GW were the only game in town, market is much different today.

Since when does GW listen to their customers? ;)

It has yet to happen.

No, there was a time.

It was a golden era, of hair metal, spandex, new wave, 8-bit, cassette tapes, epic cartoons and classic rock.

In legend it is called "the 80s".

Just looking at their website. I can't even care any more.

First of all, glad i'm not the only register reader here.

Second. LOL

Poor archaeologists...

´´Look, this must have been a religious site for a warrior culture! They deposited loads of figurines of their gods. Possibly late 20th, but I would go for early to middle 21st century as the amount seems to rise in that period. You can see the decline of the culture as more and more figurines are not painted anymore, just before the start of WWIII....´´

(To be honest I am not panicking for such an event, but I needed a dramatic ending ;) )

Wow. That is kind of hilarious.

Gonna clear out all my GW stuff in the New Year, it just needs to be done.

I might keep Space Hulk for nostalga's sake (and because it's an entirely self-contained game), but it's time for everything else to go.

I just wonder now whether there'll be many bidders. 4-5 years ago, 2nd hand GW stuff would sell quite well, now, I'm not so sure...

I'd do it before July just in case the AoSification of 40k turns out to be true, Hastings on warseer seems very sure and he's got a good record for this kind of thing.

It might make 40K a better game...

Though, kidding it down by removing slaanesh... /sound of universal distaste.

I'm trying to figure out the answer to this question and failing.

Though, kidding it down by removing slaanesh... /sound of universal distaste.

I got (in real life or as a pdf scan) every chaos codex/army book...

The archaon one might be the one where I call it quits.

Altough Slaaneshs rune is still on the cover, so a small glimmer of hope remains.

I'm in the process of selling all mine too. Trying to rid myself of some Eldar currently.

I don't see how removing points from 40k can help things, you already have tfg bringing warlord titans in 1500 point games.

You can't have a game without points and have balance unless you both take identical forces like chess, 40k has never even come close to that kind of balance and things will only get worse.

If killing wfb boosted mantic just wait till the 40k players jump ship.
