After playing scum for a long time (not competitively) I caved and finally brought my second IG-2000 Aggressor.

I am looking through my collection and am trying to theory a local-tournament-esque list. I and am missing some possible key cards to truly make this a killer list.

I am going with this as a possible starter list:

IG-88b - 50pts

-Mangler Cannon

-Advanced Sensors

-Autothrusters

-Predator

-Glitterstim

-Title: IG-2000

IG-88c - 50pts

-Mangler Cannon

-Proximity Mines

-Predator

-Glitterstim

-Fire Control System

-Title: IG-2000

Not sure how to fly it, definitely need practice to figure it out. What do you think?

I only have 1 advanced sensors, and 1 FCS...

Or... would it be better to take inertial dampeners over glitterstim, and then give the other one a bomb....

You may want to consider dropping predator on C, it's kinda at odds with FCS. The crackshot, glitterstim combo can be devastating.Outmaneuver might be a possibilty, if given the opportunity most people try to take B off the board first, leaving C to get behind them. Also if you have another copy of autothrusters you might want to find the points to put it on C, for 2 points it generally pays for itself over the course of the game.

I agree that predator wants advanced sensors. Is there a way to borrow one from a friend or someone at the tournament? It would be easy to change the proximity mines into either seismics or ion bomb to fit it in (might want to make that change regardless, because IG88 always needs his actions for something else, so much prefers actionless bombs).

GLitterstim vs inertial dampeners is tough to say what is better. They are useful in different situations and both are nice to have. I'd say try them out and see whether you prefer one over the other.

I would have loved to put autothrusters on both, but I only have 1. Same with Advanced sensors.

But, this list still did good. First game, my 88C had a very bad start, getting hit so hard it was basically end game for it, but the B pulled through and managed to get the win for me.

Third game, both bots were basically untouchable - even though I spent a lot of time hitting myself as with asteroids and enemies I kept being locked in a knot....

One thing that I first lamented, was how to deploy them? too close and they bump a lot (my third game). and too far they get focused one at a time.
