Guide them to destiny

By ZelvaK, in Battlestar Galactica

Hi

I have question about second condition on this card which says "Population and morale are within 2 of each other". I am from Czech Republic and I have a problem to translate the last part - "are within 2 of each other". When the Cylon leader win or lose? Can someone answer me and post some examples??

Thank you for reply.

within 2 of each other means that there cannot be more than 2 in difference between population and morale.

Examples:

If morale is 6, population have to be 4-8, If morale is 1, population have to be 1-3, If population is 12, morale have to be 10-14 etcetera...

It means that one of them must be 2 points higher or lower then the other one.

Thank you very much now its clear to me.

No, it means one of them must be 2 or 1 points higher or lower than the other one.

Or the same value... If both population and morale are at 4, they are still within two points of each other. The difference of the two cannot be more than 2. So that means one can be 2 points higher than the other... or one can be 1 point higher than the other... or they can be the same values (zero difference is still "within 2 of each other").
