Youngster makes Expose work on just about any ship with an EPT. If you have PtL on the receiving ship, you can do focus + expose.
Range 3 is quite the long leash, even Soontir would appreciate it! Imagine Soontir doing expose + BR + focus when he knows he's not getting shot at! Definitely something nice to have in your bag of tricks! Only works for TIE Fighters. Still unclear if the TIE Fighter designation includes the TIE/fo.
So he has an aura effect on EPT action header cards, or just specifically Expose? Does Squad Leader work even though it's unique?

Works at range 3 on any EPT action cards, including Squad Leader. Action header EPT cards aren't that strong though...

Note that Howlrunner can now pass actions at PS10, AFAIK this is unprecedented (Airen Cracken is in the Combat phase, sure, but an action before everyone shoots is more important).

Calculation isn't an "Action:" ability; I suspect the card text is implying it only works with "Action:" EPTs. I think the card's poorly worded -- I made the same assumption at first glance (imagine Predator!).

Wampa can't do Calculation.
The idea with youngster is that you either focus + expose with PtL, or you expose + howlrunner, which is better than a focus + howlrunner. At the expense of getting your fighters shot to death though.
I like the idea of chaining squad leader. Squad leader is range 2, youngster is range 3. If you have Howlrunner + VI passing actions at PS10, you can "chain" squad leader, potentially reaching a ship far beyond range 3 of Howlrunner (range 9+???!??).
edit: maximum range at which you can chain squad leader is 8 + 2 bases, so less than 9. You would need Howlrunner, Youngster, three more TIE Fighters and the receiving ship though.

Wampa is facedown, so Horn get's to flip him the bird whilst double-tapping the poor TIE fighter into space dust.

Youngster is definitely anti-fluff, unless it is a callsign given in jest. How could a newbie give his EPT to some other pilot?
