Meet the Party: Explorers

By Cannibal Halfling, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Meet the Party, which presents ready-to-play characters for a variety of systems and settings for people to use or draw ideas from, returns to Edge of the Empire to take a look at the Explorer career, and what an entire crew of them might look like. I find the idea of the Explorer, which makes the 'Edge' a literal one instead of a legal one, a very interesting choice, and I'm pretty pleased with how this crew turned out:

Nelia Guga, the Toydarian Trader who acts as the party face, negotiator, quartermaster, translator, first-contact 'expert', and contact with the black market, all in an effort to sit on a pile of treasure.

Geyytobuck, the Wookiee Archaeologist who is always dreaming of the next expedition's finds, leaving the profits to his family because the real reward of exploring is seeing something new.

Miith'ono'rance, the Chiss Big-Game Hunter who left the Ascendancy behind and now pits herself against the most dangerous prey she can find in the hopes of testing herself.

Vuko Farr, the Rodian Scout who is contracted by the Bureau of Ships and Services, but who also slips information about new hyperlanes and planets to the Rebel Alliance.

So check out Meet the Party: Edge of the Empire Explorers, hop on the YV-560 freighter known as the Daragon's Gamble, and see where these Explorers might take you. As always your comments, questions, and general feedback and conversation are more than welcome here or in the comments section of the article. Thanks, and happy gaming!

So how do you pronounce that wookiees name again? :-P

JK - loving it
