Okay, this many sound really silly, but are the models for the Nebulon-B Frigates from the Base Set and the separate Expansion pack exactly the same? My nephew wrecked the copy I had from the Base set, and I'm hoping I can just pick up an expansion pack to replace it, rather than buy a new base set. Thanks in advance
Nebulon-B Frigate model question
The Ship itself is identical.
However, the Expansion has additional Upgrade Cards to the one in the Core Set. Including two Unique Titles that most Neb-B uses really, really want.
Then as well, 2 Cards, Intel Officer and XI7 Turbolasers, that a lot of non-Neb-users want as well.
Thanks for the info! I really have to get that first wave of expansions to catch up.....even though it sounds like the second wave is on its way. I know what's on my holiday wish list....
There's apparently a slight variation in the paint jobs as well, with the expansion version looking better being the consensus I've heard, but my eyes are so bad that I didn't notice a difference in it.

Its more an age thing. The second Core set I got (and then onsold) looked better than the first Core Set one, which I bought almost immediately at release.
So I think its more a Random or an Age thing, rather than intention.
yeah my wave one looked terrible
Most of the ones I have want to angle to the right slightly while in the stand. I think this is the result of a minor flaw of the peg, in the manufacturing process, as this is the only ship with this issue. All my CR90s are fine, and I have swapped out bases just to be sure.
There just trying out a few manouvres that a certain smuggler may have taught them
The up side to this is you have bits for some cool wreckage markers.
Email fantasy flight, they have a reputation for replacing things that you would never expect them to.
I kind of like it. It gives them this small illusion of turning.

Thanks! I didn't even consider either of these options. Local shop is having a sale on Armada (and other SW games) for Small Business Saturday, so I think I'm going to pick one up and use the other for wreckage markers.

I had noticed this, but didn't realize it was just my NebB. I figured it was more a "all ships" issue. I guess the slight turn is just more of the reason the Frigate has so much trouble not showing its sides to the enemy.
