So, a lot of us have speculated on wave 9, and I've also heard some interesting theories that we won't see any more EU ships. Personally I think this is hogwash, and after being in a discussion involving syck I realized: Galaxies has a whole slew of Fighters and large ships that have not been included yet. So here goes.

I've no idea how to add a poll on these boards.

I'd love a Dunelizard! I somewhat have doubt we will see EU Rebel/Imp ships in the next wave, although I might be wrong.

Next wave (that being wave 9 at time of writing) I am inclined to agree, given how FFG like to spoil, normally we'd have hints of wave 9 by now.

Missile Boat and Kimogila are an almost-certainty. However, I would rather hedge my bets on Force Awakens content.

Namely, Kylo Ren's shuttle and the new Falcon. In addition to maybe one Resistance Ship (hedging bets on U-Wing) and a TIE/SF.

Agree. We will probably have alternating waves of TFA/little EU and EU/Rebels for the next three years, given the game continues to prosper.

Remember Rogue One is coming out next year. There will probably be a few new Rebel and Imperial ships in that movie.

But of course what I would absolutely love is a space tug token in a Storm Trooper Transport large ship set.

As Disney plan on churning out a movie a year plus other project (such as Rebels) then I think FFG will have a fair amount of new Canon to pull from for at least one wave (if not two) a year, so it will be interesting to see what they do to fill the white space, particularly around Scum and Villainy.

As a Galaxies refugee, I would love to see any or all of the ships listed out from SWG as, unlike many of the EU ships, at least I have some kind of emotional connection to them. From my perspective, ships like the K-Wing and TIE Punisher might as well have been totally created by FFG.

I know this is a horribly unpopular idea but again, due to my love for SWG, I would love to see some of the prequel ships that I got attached to such as the Jedi star fighter and Bellulab (sp?). Sorry for that increase in blood pressure I just caused many of you.

I think wave 9 will be a 5 ships wave. One per faction/subfaction.

And with the SLAM action, I would bet by the Missile Boat in the imperial faction, with more fixes for ordinance.

I also don't expect any Scum ship to come from them. More than 1 is going to seriously suprise me (and I would love that). I am a bit affraid that they will neglect the scum and villainy part of the universe, because lightsabers, blasters, and armor make better toys.

Judging by the LEGO sets, we'll see some scum in The Force Awakens. Remains to be seen if they'll have new ships.

I realized you meant trilogy mate, but while Disney will be releasing a film a year, most are set in Ot.. so... x-wings and tie fighters, Ep 8 will have maybe half a dozen new ships tops. Same goes for EP9.

They will, definitly. I expect both movies to fill about 1.5 waves of Rebels and Imperials, with maybe one iconic scum ship (although it is more likely that Slave 1 is going to take that part in one of the movies). The rest still has to be EU/Rebels, which I put into one pot, since Rebels draws so much from the EU.

Also punch me for forgetting about the amazing scummy LEGO sets of old and appareantly new (although I avoid spoilers, so I didn't look at any of this). I stand corrected on scum being marketable to a mainstream audience. I don't expect their lightness on ships to be changing in the new movies, though. After all both OT and PT just had Slave 1.

R-41 and dunelizard I believe aren't in the game yet as scum is just still a new faction.

Scum was introduced wave6. Scum WAS wave 6. Really it's just only had 7 to follow up, and 8 to build on.
