All your dice and tokens mean nothing if you roll the wrong results to use them.
Came in second place last week at a local tourney because soontir couldn't kill an X-wing at range one. And I thought they were supposed to be terrible.

That's the power of having focus (or denying it via carnor) augmenting your odds. That is unless you get blocked, ofc, but that's player interaction and not dice
Sure, freak accidents happen but not nearly as often as with the inferior, focus-less pilots whom will get ****** by blanks too
This is why soonts is so ubiquitous, and the others not so much (carnor is really underrated, though)
