I was just think about a deck based on the well known gandalf sneak attack combo. So it would be mono leadership so you could use the tome of atanatar. that would give you axcess to 6 sneak attacks. you would have steward for recorce gen, and maybe second breakfast to get 3 more sneak attacks. you could also have song of wisdom so as to access card draw and 3 more sneak attacks in the from of hamersmith. one could even go so far as to put song of travel so as to get stand and fight to get back hammersmith after chumpige. and then dwarven tomb to get back stand and fight. thats six more. thats 18 sneak attack gandalfs. that should be more than 1 per round. you could also have heros such as Aragorn, dain and Celeborn. Infact, thx to dain, you could use narvi's belt rather than songs. you could use all the powerful leadership stuff on top of gandalf and sneak attack, and quest/combat with him every turn, either lowering your high starting threat, dealing damage, or accessing card draw.

If someone wants to play this out, they can. I could even build a deck online, but I don't yet have blood of gondor and therefore don't have the tome, which is a key piece. who knows, it may fail epicly.

Since tome of Atanatar shuffles the card back into your deck, you essentially get 9 uses from just 3 Sneak and 3 Tome, assuming you can draw them all.

well with good card draw, you can draw it back up.

If you're playing mono purple, you may as well include 3 copies of Reinforcements. It's basically a double sneak attack.

Don't forget Will of the West! After you complete your Sneak Attack, Tome of Atanatar, Second Breakfast shenanigans, you can just shuffle it all back into your deck.

The only problem with mono-Leadership is card draw.

One good solution : play Balin as a hero (he can also help with nasty shadow cards) with King under the Mountain. Add a few Hidden cache and you can draw like crazy!

There's also Galadriel ally that let's you fetch for a free attachment and let's you ''stargaze'' a little bit.

Erestor ally is also pretty **** good.

Valiant sacrifice is also a must in such a deck... if you can play it 3 times, that's a 6 card draw!

I've never imagined such a deck... I hope you post a cards list if you make it!! Should be fun (and kind of an ''hommage'' to those famous insane Seastan decks).

This idea intrigued me and I've been working on a deck. The deck has a Gondor theme and uses recurring sneak attacks. Gondor monosphere leadership doesn't have very powerful allies, but I wanted to play with the theme to see how it might work. It's not quite done yet, as I still need to cut some cards. I'm also looking at the Balin hero and Erestor/Galadriel allies mentioned above to improve card draw. For now, here it is in its present state:
