That's decent, but I could have 4 Z-95s and 3 Scyks and fly them in 2 groups. I still have a group of Scyks, but I'm not flying an entire squad of Scyks.
Maybe I just need to get over my prejudices and jump on the spam-wagon.

Nah, "so i brought a three- TIE Advanced with accuracy corrector flight group with a pair of TIE Fighters"
Sounds good.

I don't rate Scyk swarms. I think one or two in a list of other ships is the best way to go.
I've seen good stuff done with 3 Khiraxz Fighters and 3 Mangler Scyks.
That should be 3 Kihraxz Fighters OR 3 Mangler Scyks, right? They cost 20 each so you can fit 5 in a 100-point squad. You couldn't get 3 of each.
And you're right. I don't think swarm is the best style for heavy scyks, but it's clear to me that the developers wanted that option available for non-heavy versions.
Duh....yes.
I'm not sure if vanilla swarm is the way to go, either. I've not tried it, though. Also, Serrisu works more when it's more of your enemy firing at your ships, not so much how many you have. That's where Howlrunner and Serrisu differ. I could see Serrissu working on a list with 2 aces as opposed to lots of Scyks.
I also think 2 vanilla Scyks can get in close with TL and Focus for that R1 shot a lot easier. Oh, and great bumpers. The Barrel Roll helps get them in just the right spot for blocking.

so used to read/write here in english that I needed 2-3 seconds to realise that "Schwarm" was NOT some english-slang-word for "swarm+1"
..slightly embarrassing, I know
OTOH: it's quite hilarious to see german words in english sentences, too.

Interesting points, because that's exactly how I use them in my latest swarm. (Yes, it really is 6 ships.)
2x Cartel Spacer
2x Binayre Pirate (Feedback Array)
1x Black Sun Soldier (Feedback Array)
1x Syndicate Thug (Ion Cannon Turret, Unhinged Astromech, Proton Bombs)
The Scyks block, the Y-wing controls, and Z-95s zap high-agility targets into oblivion. It's mostly a squad of necessity -- just playing with what I own -- but it's been a thrill to fly. The Black Sun Soldier is only in there because I have just one copy of Most Wanted so I'm using my Rebel Z-95 for that ship.
I've had so much fun blocking ships with the Scyk's barrel roll that I'm tempted to fly a TIE swarm. It's a fantastic tool! But I really like having the Feedback Array to take out Soontir. This list won against Vader+Soontir+Palpmobile. It was thrilling. Not sure it could do the same to Poe.
