One guy mentions it here. I think I've seen it elsewhere but can't remember where.

The Omicron is just a general shuttle pilot - I've not come across the phrase before but a Lambda with the emperor on board is a fairly standard thing.

Not for me unfortunately. I've not been able to swing the cash for any of the big ships so I'm missing some pretty killer upfrades

I think it could be a mistranslation from a Spanish speaker, shuttle and launcher can be translated as "Lanzadera"

Could perhaps be in reference to a Lamba build centered around supporting missile launching wingmen?

That would be my guess. Take Colonel Jendon in the Titled Lambda with a weapons engineer. Then you can hand out target locks all day long.

Good for epic - not so great for normal games because you've got so many points tied up in your AWACs space cow that it cuts into the points available for the actual dudes with missiles....
