Do Flight Controllers boost Counter?

As title says. If I activate a squadron with a squadron command and flight controllers, is Counter boosted by 1?

No, because flight controllers only boosts attack during the fighters activation (as in immediately when being commanded)

Counter happens during an opponents activation after it has worn off

But howlrunner does buff counter

Clon has it. It in theory boosts Counter, but only for the duration of the activation, during which there is no way to activate Counter as yet (or probably ever.)

In addition, dengar will also boost the counter along with howlrunner. So on an interceptor, you could be countering at 4 dice.

soo... as TIE-Interceptor with Howlrunner around, if an enemy squadron (which is engaged with another friendly squadron) attacks me, I get Counter 3 + swarm reroll?

All this ships to kill howlrunner dengar and their little *******? Mithel and some bodyguards f**k them good. Chireneau pays the party.

So would the ties get counter 1 from Dengar then get +1 blue die for counter from Howl Runner and therefore have ties with counter 2 as long as they are distance 1 to both Howl and Dengar? I would think Howl ability would only apply to fighters that had counter by default ?

Howlrunner allows a Squadron with Swarm within Distance 1 to add an attack dice during an attack... It actually has nothing to do with innately having counter - the trigger is, "Are you attacking?"

Counter, is attacking.

That's why it stacks without any hesitation.
