With blinded pilot on and twin laser equipped, do you skip both attacks out just the first. Cite source and brief explanation. If possible explain difference between old and new damage deck.
Blinded pilot / Twin Laser Turret interaction
The old damage deck, blinded pilot said "next time you attack, don't roll any dice". So that meant you were still performing an attack. Under those conditions, you could perform an attack with TLT, roll no attack dice per the card, flip it over and then perform the second attack as normal.
The new damage deck, blinded pilot says something to the effect of "you can't attack. Next time you could have attacked, flip this card down". In this case you are never given the opportunity to initiate an attack sequence, so the special rules on TLT about making a second attack have no opportunity to trigger, so you get neither attack.
Note, however, that with the old card, you were still making an attack, so you needed a valid target. It was possibly to get stuck with that crit vs an arc dodger and spend several rounds before you could even flip it down. The new card specifies that it flips down on your next opportunity to attack, even if you dont have a target, so it us only going to be active for a single round regardless.
Okay. That is what we came to as a conclusion. Is the old damage deck errataed to the new? Or in tournament do you rule based on the deck your ruling on

Per FFG, until 1/1/16 you can choose which deck you use with your ships.

per FFG, until further notice. They backpedaled.
well, ****. *eyeroll*
Until then, do you use the deck specific rules on a case by case basis? Or is blinded pilot now always the new deck version? This is more what I was asking.

Whatever is on the physical cards you brought to the game is what you use.
