I'm sure they are going to post it, but the Rekkon Ardaedhal game ended with Rekkon winning, 33-0.

Anyone up early that wants to watch the cripple fight, I'm playing Caribbean Ninja right now.

Unless we can somehow squeeze it in earlier, Truthiness vs Green Knight tentatively set for 2000 GMT next Sunday December 11th. That's 2100 for him and 1300 for me.

Caribbean Ninja beats BiggsIRL

219 - 210 for a 5-5 split

BiggsIRL was First Player and took Dangerous Territory

Results?

I was spectating and I know Jrock won. I think it was 7-3

So clontroper5 vs Doobleg: 8-2 mov 138

I was first player and selected superior position form his objectives

The game basically involved me darting in and out of range giving up virtually no shots on any of my ships while my Firesprays laid into the rear of his ships killing Jaina's light and the "Atrocious Aim" (Best name by the way :P)

I did get caught with my Raider the "Dagger" who got wolloped with a 6 damage roll Turing to space dust

*ahem*

Aside from your ISD wandering INTO range, getting PASTED, and then running the hell OUT of range in a hurry. :P

This was a really fun game, with the maneuverability of the ISD and Raiders on full display. Admiral Ozzel was just phenomenal for this fleet - an excellent combination, and played well by Clontroper. :)

And yes, I have now learned two valuable lessons in this Wave 2 environment:

1) Don't put Superior Positions in your cards if you didn't bring squadrons.

2) BRING SQUADRONS!!!

The original name for Atrocious Aim was Atrocious Dyspepsia, but he was re-named due to poor shooting in round 1. As he ended up travelling off the board in round 2, round 3 will again see him re-named, this time to Atrocious Driving. ;)

Logile for the game is here. Enjoy!

Captain ICT vs JRock on now

Results?

Result was 400 to 305, JRock vs Captain ICT 7-3 MOV 95.

Firstly thank you to Captain ICT for the great game. Pleasure playing you. Everything was very civil and fair on marginal calls. That map was horrendous though and I won't be using it again.

Both sides 400 points. Captain won initiative and elected to go second. I chose hyper space assault from multiple poor options.

Game was a total brawl! Demolisher got the final shot at the start of turn 5 finishing off the XXX and claiming victory. Screen shots and narrative to come because you all want to know what happened to an ISD-II, 2 Raiders, 1 MC80 Assult, 2 Nebulon B's (Salvation and Yavaris), and more fighters than you can shake a gaderffi stick at!

Darting in and out of range limiting the number of meaningful shots :P

Why was CaptainICT using objective tokens to measure distance during the squadron phase?

Because as soon as you move a squad the range bands move with it, so it's harder to adjust the final position.

Throwing out a token like that is a way of working around it.

Sometimes I'll move a copy. to each his own.

That's an interesting technique! Hadn't thought of that.
