Squadrons are not 12 ships

But, what is the weight of an African Swallow?

"I don't know that! Ahhh!"

But, what is the weight of an African Swallow?

Exactly one hundred centiswallows.

But, what is the weight of an African Swallow?

One hundred centiswallows! I thought it was one thousand milliswallows.

That's the stupidest thing I've heard all day. Get outta here with that voodoo.

In the future we will remember this time period as the 'we were so bored waiting for wave 2 that we literally would argue about nothing.'

I guess we've said everything that can possibly be said to prepare.

Guys, I don't think the corvette is accurately represented in size. I keep trying to fit one into my ISD's bay and it doesn't fit. What do?

I just read this while being bored and waiting for wave 2 and my god I have seen some pointless arguments but this is right up there. I can't believe people really care about what the real size is 3 or 100 to each there own but all you got is those little figures on a stand with 1-6 hull on it and that my friends is all that matters ;) so stay safe have fun chill out and enjoy wave two

Long time lurker, first time poster and let me tell you guys that with all my accumulated knowledge of this game, If you dont scream "SPLASH ONE BOGIE" every time you remove a hull point from a fighter squadron you are absolutely doing it wrong and no one will like you. FITE ME.

But, what is the weight of an African Swallow?

About the weight twelve snubfighters.

What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

Mwahaha! Mwahahaha! MWAHAHAHA!

That's not funny, man.

There is a war on Life Day going on in this country, and it's eroding the very bedrock of society. It used to build a person's fortitude and determination to sit through a showing of the Star Wars Holiday Special, and nowadays people just don't care anymore.

Also, people say 'Bobringi Mafusa', as if it's the same as a proper Wookiee Life Day greeting.

Someone give me my five minutes back.

Someone give me my five minutes back.

Mmm... I'd still prefer not.

This is bound to offend somebody... Maybe even everybody.

I understand the OP's frustration / nerd-rage: I feel your pain, braw!

Still this was the funniest thing I've read in a long time! Just hopin' Wave 2 gets here before we all end up tossing each other into the Gorge of Eternal Peril

My squad count comes from my AOL days doing the role-playing commanding on the forums. So to me, a squad is 12 and it's carried down.

Ok I suppose X Wing/TIE Fighter may have come first. But I don't care what people use. In Armada, it rolls some die, and then takes hits.

Jesus... We need Wave 2. Badly.

There is no way that a Correlian Corvettes can pump out roughly half the damage that a Victory Star Destroyer can.

That's because each CR-90 model represents three ships.

Six fighters per Armada squadron is a pretty good compromise. Since you can move two squadron stands for each activation.

Each stand is three ships? What's that based on?

I've seen people replace their stuck Corvettes with smaller ones that are three on a stand - I liked it a lot, but it isn't how the stock Corvette works.

Moving two stands with one activation doesn't imply anything about number of fighters per stand - otherwise why can't you activate two per command?

I think of each stand as three fighters.

Each stand is actually only 1 fighter. You might see 3, but that's merely a representation of the number of people it takes to operate that single ship. You've got the pilot, the flight controller and the guy that fills up the ship with gas.

To me, 1 squadron is 12.

One of the plane pieces represents the squadron leader while the other 2 are representative of the rest of the gang.

Not that it matters since I normally try to deploy a whole flight group of them which is 4 squadrons

Each squadron is 3 chances to make sharpies look like a legitimate coloring device!!!

Sorry, excited that I got a new pack and I'm able to get the Ints and Bombers to look the correct blue tint.

I'm perplexed as to why it's important to tell other people their arbitrary imagination is wrong (about the number of fighters "actually" in a squadron versus the number of miniatures on the stand). It's not really going to make a difference one way or the other. I imagine it is 12 just due to the lore and it means if I bring 4 stands of TIEs, I can tell myself hey that's 48 TIE Fighters, that's quite a mob, rather than feeling like "oh, my 3 capital ships only brought 12 TIE Fighters? Were they drunk?"

But I mean hey to each their own. I guess this is as good a time as any to say hey,
