Because this page has been causing a bunch of people who haven't/don't plan to read the comic to get upset when they see it, here's the basic summary of the issue, spoilers:
Luke gets captured by a Hutt that collects Jedi artifacts. Imperial TIE Pilots are first on the scene to start a raid. Hutt triggers an EMP to make all the blasters useless. R2, during the havoc heads to the back to grab Luke's and some of the other lightsabers from the Jedi artifact collection and shoots it over to Luke and friends. Luke and friends proceed to start fighting back against the unarmed TIE Pilots. Han does mention how he's trying to not cut his face off, and Leia also mentions the difficulty in accuracy in handling the lightsabers. And as soon as Stormtroopers with functioning blasters show up, they immediately start to book it.
Basically, it looks a lot worse out of context than it is.
