After much practice with Wave 1 Neb B's (so that I can comment on them from experience and not theory) I've determined they were only as good as their Title. Wave 2 has a chance to change that.
Nebulon-B's can't win a tournament you say?! I think you underestimate them.
I got murdered with 4 neb b supports and dodonnas pride. So I think we can determine that you are indeed the better man Lyraeus.
At least until you face my devastator list!
I am not sure how I feel about them in wave 2. They have to go up against FAR more dice which will be painful. Not only the chance for more Accuracies to be rolled but a higher level of damage as well
Sounds like you had a well rounded list with all the necessary components to succeed, a solid plan and well thought out objectives. You then executed well and made good decisions to win consistently against varied opponents.
None of this has anything to do with Neb Bs being in your list or not
NB nebs are still great ships!

I have yet lost a 300 tournament game with my list that have 2 CR90 and 2 Neb-b with mon mothma.
I do think that both the CR90 and Assault frigate are better ships in stats and mobility just point for point, however with titles and the right upgrade Nebulons can be a very powerful ship.
I would not suspect a 5 neb list to win though

400 points allows one to fill out those old 300 point lists with flair that really ramps them up!

It works out really well. Many people dont think about it. I will be trying it out with Tractor Beams and a few other cards at least one time.
