So, my daughter (14) has played x-wing and enjoys it. Don't let her friends know though, it might hurt her image (Ha ha). Anyway, here is her list for a couple tournaments this weekend her and I will attend. In the past she has mainly either run x-wings or Suicide scum Zs. This is new for her but it looks like a solid list, so, I can't complain. C&C always welcomed.

Ten Numb: Calculation, Mangler Cannon, Advanced Sensors, B-wing/E2, C-3PO

Horton Salm: Twin Laser Turret, R2 astromech

Gold Squad Pilot: Twin Laser Turret, R2 Astromech

Alot of shield/hull. I know that Kyle Katarn is the usual choice, but I think C-3PO works well enough too, might just keep the B-wing on the board longer. Seems everything on the list works well together. Just a different list.

If you take Mangler on Ten Numb, calculation is redundant. Only one of his crits ignores defense dice, so there's no point in trying to get more crits. Veteran Instincts would be far more useful, because moving last gives Ten the ability to barrel roll to get an arc on someone if you find they managed to avoid your initial move's arc.

R2 Astros are also not that useful for twin laser turret y-wings. You don't really need to k-turn (or at least not very often), so you don't get much value out of them. Switch them for R5s, or even better, give gold pilot R3-A2 if you have the transport.

Agreed

Swap calculation for wired on Ten
