I'm putting together a list for a tournament on Saturday. I've been running Palpmobile and Aces a fair bit, so I thought I'd switch it up and play something different. I want to use my shuttle in an entirely different role, so here's what I've got in mind.

Not sure about your choice of cannon. Shuttles can't control range at all and if your opponent can those are just wasted points. Also, if going offensive for the shuttle, magi might not be the best. Unless you're just wanting PS 8, Jendon is better off since your opponent doesn't have to TL him. You might get a round or two of TL passes while your shuttle turns around or just doesn't need the TL because the enemy isn't in arc.

I prefer basic Omicron + FCS+ gunner + engine (classic buzz saw). If you want more go for a second crew (tactician or rebel captive for control) or a cannon and all for much cheaper than Kagi.

I wish we had 1-2 more shuttle pilots. All three of the named pilots shine in epic but only Yorr is even thought of for standard play and only rarely there (maybe more often if stressbot infests). I'd love to see a named shuttle pilot whose special ability is an EPT slot. I'd like to see an offensive ability on one too.
