Well, I just jumped in after reading up and watching YouTube. I love miniature games and I don't have anything star wars. So I ordered the core set, and a few other main characters. I'll probably end up playing more skirmish games... I'm not concerned with meta game, just want to relive the movies I game form. This looks like a lot of fun and will be introducing it to some gaming friends. Really looking forward to painting the minis, too!

Yep, after seeing The Force Awakens with my sons - and having arguments over involving the kids with D&D with my ex-wife - this looks like a nice, contemporary compromise! I'm going to buy the core set this week and set about playing some campaign with the boys over their school holiday. May the Force be with You!

I played my first game with my 11 yo daughter last night. She was very excited to play! She jumped at the chance to play Luke! We stumbled our way through a sample skirmish. By the end, we had a good handle on the game.

After playing Heroclix, she was adapting to the rules very quickly. We had a lot of fun and are planning to play again soon.
