Ok so here is a list I'd like to get a little feedback on. The concept is to use the stress hog to allow vrill to get his extra shot while the other Y Wing keeps other ships ioned to help the stress hog get his shots lined up. What do you guys think, is this list even a little competative?

I assume you're working with what you have and not proxying any cards?

Because I would drop Luke for Gunner then.

I'd also drop the Shield Upgrades and give Eaden an HLC.

For the remaining 3 points, you could upgrade to Dutch on one of the Y's

YT-2400 is made to be the outrider with HLC. Is there a big initiative bid you are going for? If not save the 4 points and go with gold squadron pilots.

I would use the Y wings for donut hole cover personally. something like

Dash + HLC + Outrider + VI + R2D2

2x Gold + TLT ( or Ion)

While that list is fairly effective, it pretty much ignores the OPs original idea, which is to use stresshog to feed Vrill's ability.

I'm not sure it's hugely competitive (Vrill becomes much less effective when Stresshog is dead) but Vrill is still quite good.

I'd say drop Luke for Gunner (better upgrade economy) and switch the Ion Cannon Turret on the Stresshog for a TLT. Otherwise, go for it. I'm tempted to try it myself.

Yeah TLT is a better choice on the stress hog as you can generate 2 per turn.
