Its a shame the action is taking place at the far end of the Table... Don't you hate it when Setups go that way? ![]()
Any info on how the camera is set up?

I think a higher angle would be better for this. . .
Its otherwise Clear on the Video side of things... I mean, I am seeing more than I expected to see, given the circumstance - so its a nice clear video feed... Which is awesome.
But its hard to see anything - which, I guess happens on casual setups. Really, you need either a moveable setup, or at least a second video option to be truly professional, but of course, this is hardly what is expected at this point.
I don't want to be so negative, dammit... Because it is exciting and has true potential.
... and it is so much more, and so much better, than anything I have attempted, and should be applauded.
I'll get details after. Guy at store had his stuff and wanted to stream while he X Wings. If his outlet was closer to us he'd set up the camera closer.
Its no biggie
It was awesome to see a setup that works outside of Worlds ![]()

Sorry for the sloppy list/posts. Updated as I had time. Glad ya'll enjoyed watching. Got lucky one of the guys down there for the local TV story for the store wanted to stream, and picked the Armada table because we were just setting up and X Wing was mid game. I'll post whenever we're running something at the store for your enjoyment.
The guy claimed it was the cheapest webcam (Logictec) that shoots HD, the cheapest laptop, and the cheapest tripod he could get at Best Buy. He said at one point we had 6 people watching, the most his stream ever had! He ended up moving the setup closer once he finished his game and could make sure nobody stepped on the laptop. But I'll be sure if we do stream we try to make sure it's in a better position.
I hoped his setup would extend higher, but it looked pretty maxed out. I'm thinking if he had forgone the near side of the table he could have a better overall shot.
