Got it on ps4 for Xmas. I'm up to level 11 I think. Have only tried walker assault, supremacy, and fighter battles.

I'm not that great at ground combat yet, but I'm pretty good at fighter combat now.

Graphics and sound are amazing. Could use more maps. Not sure paying for a dlc will be worth it though.

Falcon and slave should be good but as it stands if you don't pick the token up you've zero hope of being top of the board.

You and I must get matched in totally different games, or people grab the ships without knowing what they're doing (most times I just see the Slave and Falcon go after each other and ignoring the rest).

I know how to change speed...I mean the pickups for guys on the ground. On some maps, if I want to get into a fighter I have to practically fight my way to the enemy spawn.

Next time you get the falcon, try the instakill slave 1 trick I detailed earlier...

get close to slave 1, activate shields, turboboost through slave 1, take no damage, profit.

Alternatively, get slave1's attention, when he tries to ram you, hit shields, laugh.

Funny, but I am finally stopping Titanfall after about a year of play. I'm getting into SWBF.

I played a little bit yesterday. I got up to lvl 34? Looking forward to the Scout Trooper head. Don't think Storm Troopers should be without helmets.

You're not dying in one unless half the opposing team makes it their mission to kill you, at which point their team loses since they aren't scoring kills on the other ships, just shooting yours, all while you rack up the points. (Unless you're in the Slave 1, in which case you have to watch out for the Falcon.)

However, when I'm trying, I can get the top spot without the hero ship. I laughed the other day when I triple podiumed over the guy who never died in the Falcon.

Helps to be in the A-Wing though.

I rarely get the hero ships, but when I get Slave 1, I make sure to wait until the Falcon's shields go down then ram it hard. I may blow up, but so does it.

I have a great time on it. I'm usually with a friend, if not 2 or 3 of them, and I can tell you that it makes a WORLD of difference. When you make it as tactical ad Battlefield and play it like that, defending uplinks against wave after wave of rebels/troopers, assigning roles, .... we get hours of enjoyment out of this game and I suspect many more.

Now, I'm not going to defend this game against the criticism it's receiving for some well earned points. No Galactic Conquest? That's half the reason I was anticipating this title. I can live without the single player campaign. And I wish upgrading worked differently, but at the end of the night, I've usually had a blast with my buddies.

I like the game, too, and that's just on my own. I'm getting a few more friends in on the game and looking forward to coop play.

I like the game, and it was the motivation to upgrade to an X-Box One which is turning out to be a great decision. I love the new Kinect and its update voice commands for instance. No more rummaging for remotes or turning the controller back on to pause Netflix.

Pfft I've seen my mates try to do voice commands it never works first time and takes longer than using the joypad.

I Didn't even consider the Xbox an option until they removed the Kinect, it does not and never has worked right which is why devs don't add compatibility anymore.

I say this as someone who's always owned an Xbox, I went through three 360's but let's not be fan boys that aspects always been naff.

Just picked up Battlefront on the Origin sale a few days ago, and I just had to tell somebody that this game ABSOLUTELY ROCKS!!! The sounds are amazing! Explosions especially are quite visceral. And when the Slave I flies by it sounds like the Slave I . Soooo good! I am totally glad I bought it (on sale). I am currently level 10. Starfighter combat is my favorite, but Dropzone is a close second. Dropzone is close enough to command posts from previous Battlefront games that I find I actually don't miss them much. Now, I am not a real fan of first person shooters any more, but this game has me totally absorbed. I play it every chance I get. And the Missions are amazing, too. And Survival Mode! Oh, man. It's way better than the naysayers keep nay-saying.

The other night I went out to dinner wearing my Battlefront t-shirt from Star Wars Celebration: Annaheim. The waiter said, "If only that game was as good as the old ones." What!? It's WAY better! I love Battlefront!!!

Yeah and if it never worked the united states military and nasa wouldn't have interest in using it, nor would japan use it in their specialized vehicle prototypes.

Anyway with the new dlc coming out soon I hope we get new game modes. One could be a Survival game that allows 10-30 people, they re in a wrecked capital ship and a Dark Trooper shows up. Your job is to stay alive and make your way through the ship and into the hanger and steal a passenger craft. If you die once its a game over. Hacking through doors or activating defenses or other systems uses the same command prompt as capturing command points.

The Dark Trooper cant die, it can one hit kill the players with direst hits from rockets, heavy plasma beams, and its arc caster, which will jump player to player. If you die once its a game over for you. The reason you will want to shoot the Dark Trooper is to distract him from the person/s currently trying to hack / cut through walls and blasters, or trying to use computer systems to help them get through the ship.

I think music playing with a beat similar to this would be awesome while being hunted by the Dark Trooper.

They should have an achievement just for making it to the end, also it should be scripted at the end to ether have the Dark Trooper kill the survivors after they think they have escaped and or it has enough time to launch a tracker onto the escaping ship hull.

They could have more mission like this one with different specialized trooper showing up to kill your group. This specific mission should be named "The Grey Nightmare".

When is the first DLC package coming? My brother bought me the Season Pass for Xmas!

I dunno, but if the DLC includes some way to stop those Bowcaster/Jumpjet fools then I'm all for it.

I'm hoping the dlc will add something more.... epic. I want a mission like scenario broken up into multiple segments, similar to unreal tourney's assault mode way back in the day. I really like walker assault, but it just doesn't go far enough. In the end, it's still just domination.
