Star Wars Battlefront

Last night, I think I was the only player on a map not using the TL-50, every time I ran round a corner - SPLAT secondary fire.

I love the Bryar, even though it isn't that great. It's really satisfying to get that secondary fire kill.

As much as I love the gun... it is an OP gun. I think they should maybe nerf the gun so that if one uses Secondary Fire then they have to wait for it to cool down instead of being able to vent it. That and/or make the Secondary Fire not as strong. Cause it gets a little boring to see everyone using the same gun.

Well....I'm helping my parents out after my Dad had heart surgery. I'm here for a week and no Xbox. If it weren't my kids', I'd be fine to take it down here! I wish I had at least grabbed my gaming pc. Poo...

A bit ago I decided to just buy the season pass, I don't like the Heavy Repeater actually. I keep wanting to focus and starting a secondary fire.

Fighter Squadron has gotten confusing with Bespin and the Death Star :o I'm still good, just not as good.

I have gotten better at the ground game though, if I put my mind to it and not just rush in where angels fear to tread. I still prefer the standard rifle though.

I agree with the standard rifles. I do enjoy playing with them and they are good all around weapons. The other ones tend to be a bit too specialized for me.

As for the game...I kept getting bad connections the past few times I've tried to play and I just don't know what that's about. It made me not want to play. Google fiber is coming to my area at some vague point "soon". They have a good wireless router that I might pick up and that would improve gameplay. Otherwise, I've got to somehow run cables through walls and through the attic that I'm not able to do myself...and have no funds for it.

Then, my brother got me Battlefield 1 on pc and I haven't touched the Xbox in a while. I'm sucked into that and I don't think I've gotten my fill of the latest expansion pack.

I like the Dark Trooper Commander gun from the Death Star dlc, i don't think its that op, unless it got nerfed. People keep hitting me with it but i don't die half the time. I most the time only get assist with it.

I finally got the achievement for killing 10 people trying to claim my drop pod with that gun. I had to throw the toxic gas grenades out to get the kills though.

I thought Kyles pistol could be the best pustol in the game if you can learn how to use it. It iver heats to easily and its secondary fire is like a beam the size of a needle i guess. But i got the achievement for winning 10 extractions with it... finally.

Where is the Arc Caster? This game is still incomplete until the Arc Caster is in the game. I suppose I could live without the Jet Trooper, but not having the caster is just keeping me from playing.

I need my Arc Caster and precision pistol secondary.

Haven't played the Death Star yet and just heard Scarrif is released to season pass now.

Was the Death Star stuff fun? Anyone know what the new one brings to the table?

Thinking I need to put Destiny down (been playing since they released the RoI expansion) and try it. (I still need to try the DS3 expansion too. Moving eats up all your free time. Haven't even unpacked my X-Wing stuff yet.)

Death Star was wonderfully evocative. Its just frustrating having no option to 'set maps' so you can play on the two death star related fighter squadron maps.

Ah , new content .. i may have to put the game on now.

Death Star is great, the linked missions in a set rotation really works.

I've just gotten the new upgrade, but need to reup my Gold subscription. Work got in the way.

The rogue one maps are a little underwhelming.

Basically a mission on the same map as the star destroyer blockade death star one to get/stop u wings trhough a shield gate and then a jungle mission to stop rebels getting some plans.

I've not seen the imperials actually *win* the shield gate one yet (i imagine they have to lose it for the narrative) and the land missions are a pig as imperials.

(i have found jet packing onto the extraction u wing actually to be a really good firing position with loads of cover as an imperial)

Jyn's gun is neat. If I didn't need my star cards to unlock everything else, I'd give it a serious try.

These will all be fantastic when they allow offline skirmish for the multiplayer. I'm playing the new heroes with my kids and they are enjoying them. I highfived my 6 year old when he finished off a rebel Transport in a TIE Interceptor yesterday, but yeah he's not ready for online multi.

f**k EA for ignoring offline so much.

The new DLC is pretty good :)

Anyone have a trick for getting "uplink defended"? Having a heck of a time earning them for the bounty.

The stupid thing is they could so easily have made the single player campaign an updated 'dark forces' and made a lot of people very happy.

I'm a little disappointed at how short the new mode in the Scarif DLC seems to be. It's fun while it lasts, but it feels like it's over before things really get going.

I have yet to see the Rebels lose though. The fact that during each of the modes they only have to get one of the multiple objectives finished (Get a single U-Wing through the shield gate, destroy one of the two shuttles, get at least one data tape to the U-Wing) feels like the gametype is slightly in Rebels favor.

The Scarif maps look pretty though. Still don't understand why some foliage counts as a wall that can't be moved or shot through, but whatever I guess.

I'm starting to really dislike B-Wings.

Scarif hasn't grabbed me much yet. The Walker Assault is also over very quickly.

Haven't tried Walker Assault yet on Scarif, but I heard there's only two sections when you defend/attack the comm relays? That seems incredibly short.

It is two sections, the AT-ATs are incredibly weak.

I didn't even know there was a new expansion out for it! I haven't played this game much since a few weeks after Death Star came out. I had issues with my internet connection starting to lag out and make the game unplayable. That...and BF1 came out and I've been doing that all day long. I should probably try out the new content as you guys seem to like it.

On Scarif, in the ground battle mission, the TIE Striker power up seems completely useless.. I've gotten it a couple times and it never seemed to do anything. Conversely, I've been brutally strafed by the U-Wing many many times, but have never received that power up myself yet.

I keep wondering what the heck the TIE Striker upgrade does. I see the "TIE Striker in the area" warning pop up quite a lot when I'm playing as the Rebels, but I've never been killed by it or seen it do anything. Come to think of it... I've never seen it at all.

Yeah i was worried it was going to be as deadly as say an orbital strike but it just seems to strafe around you at most and not do anything.

Krennic is far more dangerous.

Is their a rebel hero on this map? Not run into them yet if there is.
