I flew a TLT Y-wing before it was cool. Oh, I had an A-wing too. And a firespray, and for an alt I really liked the royal guard TIE after it was fixed (refused to fly before.. honour...) I also really, REALLY liked the Y-8 and Decimator.

My loadout: Whatever gun I feel like using for the map and situation (changes a lot, T21B, EE3 most usually) Pulse rifle (I love getting double kills or fighter kills with this) Upgraded Ion Torpedo (If you kill a fighter with this, bonus - it's used to force them to evade). Explosive, Scan or Ion shot (each upgraded).

How do you upgrade an ion torpedo?

When you go to the star cards screen you have an option to select upgrade for 7000 credits. I do this to everything I use. Fairly sure you can upgrade ion torpedo as well.? (lowers cooldown time).

It's where you buy them/buy more usable cards like explosive shot - you have an option to upgrade. It's usually/always 7000 credits. My pulse rifle is upgraded too, so i can fire it every 12 seconds rather than like 16 (or whatever it was).

I missed out on Galaxies, I'm still upset over it. I flew the TIE Bomber the most in the older battlefronts, and Rogue Squadron 3. For the sh*tty PSP battlefronts, I flew the TIE Fighter because I wanted other people to take better craft and leave me to multitask. Too many idiots boarding and stealing Defenders and Lines and I had to shoot them down (6 to 10 Defender kills in my Lines). This one moron tried boarding my Destroyer in a B-wing and I point blanked him in a TIE Bomber with a proton bomb. I nearly died in the explosion, he vaporized.

That right there is why I remember the Bomber so fondly, besides Rogue Squadron 3 infinite missiles and the Bomber being the most forgiving non-shielded advanced Imperial fighter in TIE Fighter. For extra annoying and glitchy jackasses, I used the Interceptor. Unfortunately, I knew the same crap they did, and I did it better. Then the next PSP Battlefront came out and solidified why Lucas Arts games died entirely for that generation until FU came out, and that game wasn't as great as the PS2 era golden games.

I liked the bomber in Battlefront 1+2. Never played the PSP games. While in the last 15 years I've become a lot less PC master race than I was, I still have complete derision regarding mobile gaming. That won't change.

In TIE Fighter yeah, the bomber was great.

You couldn't be more right then post-Tarja Nightwish not getting better. My TIE Bomber experiences are the reason I want a squadron, or half a squadron of them, but I don't want to splurge the money for them when I like the Punisher.

Feels like I'm giving my past a disservice, but I can barely justify spending the money at this time.

I have 5 bombers. Had 6. One went suspiciously missing. I don't miss apartment life.

To be fair, post-Tarja had tracks like the escapist which is pretty good. Nothing on their original stuff though.

I prefer Xandria and Within Temptation, Dianna is a phenomenal singer and Sharon has definitely enjoyed stability and success. Especially after The Dance were the male couldn't perform anymore and she had to take complete singing lead.

Do you think it's worth 2 bombers and a mix/4 bombers within the next few months, and what is the most cost effective buying order for it?

Seen Within Temptation live... they were eclipsed utterly by the band they were fronting for though. Iron Maiden . Twickenham 2008. I'll always say though, the day Kerrang Magazine gave the Mother Earth album a 1 star rating and raved about slipknot... was the day I stopped reading kerrang.

XANDRIA THOUGH!!! Man I love Xandria, Like a rose on the grave of love and Eversleeping are two of my favourite songs ever. Pretty much no-one I know has ever heard of them.

For Bombers. Get 3/3

3 grey bombers, and 3 Imperial veterans when it comes out. I'll have 9 bombers to go with my 9 interceptors... (have to get 4).

I play Epic/narrative so.... yeah standard fighters i like to stock on. With Guidance chimps, long range sensors and extra munitions having a pair of bombers escorted by a fighter group is thematic and awesome.

I can't play regularly with my work schedule, I have two jobs. I just want an operational 100 pt squadron, so I don't necessarily want to go overboard. One chip will get my Redline supered, but I want Bombers eventually, maybe.

I started late, so Manuella and Dianna are my preferred singers. Nightfall, Soulcrusher, Forevermore, and Unembraced are my favorite.

Eh I can't play to regularly either. I have kids, but at an age where I can't just play with them.

I started late 90s early 2000s... Lots of classic Tarja. Mother earth album for WT. I also really like Inkubus Sukkubus.

The gatherings cover of the dead can dance track - In power we entrust the love advocated gets honourable mention, as does early Lacuna Coil. Within temptations cover of running up that hill is pure win.

I have mandylion, but her songs are not attractive, despite having an amazing voice. Her duet with Sharon for Somewhere is amazing. I guess I just want her to sing heavier. I'm not that keen on Lacuna Coil.

I'll guess I'll stick to my Punisher until I get the Vets pack, and then maybe build off a TIE Bomber squadron.

Also, the **** doesn't the new Battlefront have TIE Bombers and accessible Y-Wings?

New Battlefront is graphically amazing. Feels Star-wars-y(to be fair this was most important thing) but lacks a lot of content. I do hope we see Y-wings and bombers later on down the line in an expansion/DLC.

Graphics do not concern me, only that they're functional. My problem is it doesn't feel so much as Star Wars, more of a COD shooter in Star Wars. Jakku was so poorly written in the new books that I wouldn't even look forward to the DLC for it, even if I had Battlefront on a current gen console.

It also sucks that my laptop broke, so now I can't play TIE Fighter or Battlefront 2.

EH I dunno. I used to say that, but it's all about immersion. With battlefront the graphics are nice, sound is nice. guns work about right. It's issue is too many jump packs, and a few balance issues. Oh, and not enough content. I'd honestly like to see a Tantive IV level.

It needs way more co-op. As an Arena battle game it's already lost to Eternal Crusade IMO. For Space flight/sim it's lost to Space Engineers. Those are the games that take up my time currently.

Immersion is easier on a PC I think sometimes, you're closer to the screen and not lounging on the couch in the living room.

Depends how big your TV is... my wife went mental saying ours is far too big for the room

yeah, even then though, it's not as if you can immerse yourself like you could. Though Thief with headphones is coming close, you're usually sharing the living room with someone else, you can't lose yourself properly like the old days.

And these days I'm looking more for a cohesive story, instead of just getting side quest after side quest.

I find my audio is focussed on co-ordinating with my mates a lot of the time and thats on headphones.

In the day i work from home, my armchair is in front of the TV, its a huge TV and i can crank the sound up

I have tenitus, I haven't immersed myself in years to my recollection. Granted the last few games I really enjoyed were ACFA, Dark Souls, Alice: Madness Returns, and The Witcher 2. I think I'm do for another DAO run, but I have a Divinity 2 and Skyrim playthrough to finish now that I finally pushed myself to play Inquisition.

Double XP for this weekend! I'm at 45 now and might be able to get a bit higher soon. Then again, maybe play with my son's account to help him out.

Dawn of War, Road Redemption, Eternal Crusade and Angels fall First (what battlefront could have been) are all saying no... double XP though...

I got a little out of control last week with the community challenge, so I took a week off from Battlefront to prioritize my life That said, I'm super excited to play again tomorrow (the double XP is a nice bonus).
