Yeah, there's a lot of things having been patched.
No fix for A-wings, but I like the MF + S1 health reductions.
Gadge: Activate the shields right before ramming. Drink the slave 1 guys tears.
That needs to be fixed.
Glad the lowered the health of the hero ships though. Overall I like the changes.

Okay, I just got back from perusing the Battlefront forums and it made me SO grateful for all the great people here. X-wing seriously has the best community ever!

Thankfully, that bug has been fixed.
So... just saying... I killed an A-Wing today by NOT locking on and merely leading him with free fire cannons. So, maybe, that's how they mean for you to do it?
Could not duplicate. Apparently that was my critical success for the day.
Most of those fixes needed to happen, but why didn't they fix A-Wings?
Cuz seriously, when I'm really trying, I can barely pull off an Imperial win in Fighter Squadron something like 200 to 198, but as Rebels I can fix lunch and still win that 200-87.
I also heard they fixed the Kamikaze Falcon thing, but didn't see anything about it in the patch notes.
I downloaded Eternal Crusade yesterday. I am a Word Bearer. I speak the hymns of the chaos gods.

So....I only buy something like 2 games a year. I plan ahead and look at what I'm really interested in. I play the heck out of them until something good comes along. I think I'll be happy with Battlefront for a long time.
Never mind about A-wing hunting. Apparently they posted on Twitter or something that they have a fix, but it wasn't ready in time for this update.
But I did manage to kill 2 A-wing per game (except for that odd game where I had zero kills and 10+ deaths). Still, I agree it's better to hang back and hunt X-wings.
They went a little too hard with the nerf-bat on the Crossbow. Even fully charged its no longer a 1 hit kill. In fact its kind of useless now.

They'll improve it. Look what they did to the cycler rifle. (Nerfed to literal uselessness, just starting to improve now).

also the news that it looks like a death star trench map for fighter squadron will be out this autumn
would like them to do an alternative outft for leia though, she looks well daft in hoth kit on anything but hoth....
Leia on Tatooine watches Game of Thrones, and is braced because she knows that winter is coming. If she gets another outfit it would have to be the Endor Commando outfit - the only problem is that it looks so much like a normal female trooper, that it would be hard to tell who she is. you are supposed to easily be able to identify the heroes. I haven't faced the new luke or han yet, when I played last night I only saw the original models so I don't know how well those versions blend into the other troops for the hoth map, but I'm guessing it's more camoflauged. Poor Vader on Hoth.
Hans quite dark but the parka gets snow on it!
Lukes really hard to see and its only the bluelightsabre that really gives him away.
I'd give leia a flowy 'poncho' to make her look a little different,
Its not worse than level 50 shadow troopers looking bit like vader i guess.
They could always get rid of any confusion and give her the 'jabbas captive' outfit

I don't play a lot of games either. Just picked up Thief for the X-Box One. Sneaking about in the dark, counting the steps a guard takes. I love it, always have since the first game.
I'm still trying to get my "one kill with each upgrade" bit. I finally got my Cycler Gun the other night. Wound them first and then fire is what I learned. I still need to get the Crossbow one, too. Maybe wait to do it last in case they un-nerf it?
Can you get a kill with the Ion Grenade? I guess you have to blow up a vehicle? Ugh, that will be fun. Ion Torp is so much better.
Besides Grenades, what other things do I need kills with? Oh, I did get Scout Pistol once.

Oh, I did grab that one for free last month off Gold! I played the original on PC back in the day. Loved it. I...haven't got far as I am doing SWBF when I have free time.

I am sure this game is a lot of fun from MMORPG stand point but if it was more like Destiny maybe I would have enjoyed it more especially if it single player campaign and not just single player instructional stuff. I traded my copy in after 2 weeks...it just wasn't what I was expecting

I'm so glad it isn't like Destiny or just a single player campaign. I wouldn't have bothered getting it.
I'm more into multi-player only games like Battlefield or Titanfall. Or...the original SWBF...if they weren't unbalanced (whichever side had the jet packs won).
