So i picked this up today and its not that bad. For the Xbox 1 it only took about 90 minutes for the day one patch to download and install the full game. Ive only played about 90 minutes worth of the game but ive done both the ground combat and the starfighter combat (tutorial). The starfighter combat was pretty fun, in a X-wing, and the ground combat was pretty good. There are problems tho. From what i played the biggest thing i didnt like about the game was that you didnt get a secondary weapon you could switch to in a pinch. Other than that there is only 5 maps with about 5 single/split-screen/co-op modes. But overall if you liked battlefield or COD and/or shooter in general and are a big fan of star wars it not a bad game. Just beware that EA has a hand in this so just beware when buying more than just the regular version.

I bought it on PC (add me BergerMeister). I love it. I need to adjust my joystick settings via Xpadder or pick up a game controller for dogfighting. The dogfighting is a ton of fun and beautiful.

I think visually the game is amazing, though the unlocks and depth are much less. I mean really, the scout trooper armor and shadow trooper armor are the top Imperial upgrades? Not to mention the $50 season pass to buy features that haven't been stated yet.

PS4 for me and it is bloody lovely to look at. The environments are terrific. I like the more casual nature of it but they went a bit too casual with leaving out a squad mechanic in some of the game modes. It should be entertaining enough though. We'll see what happens as people unlock everything and learn how to play the modes and maps.

Air vehicles are a big disappointment but they were like this in the open beta so can't complain too much.

I'm not in any hurry to get a season pass.
