If you have Netflix, block out your weekend and watch all of the Clone Wars animated. It was all great. Even the movie was decent, but the series was better. The first 3 season weren't totally linear either. You might consider using this guide for viewing order in the first 3 seasons and the animated movie.

Rebels have also been good so far, but I have only seen the first season.

that set is missing the final season.
And the movie is separate.
I am not seeing a set that contains all of them. For you to see Yoda piloting the ship, you need the Lost Episodes. I just re-watched the arc with Yoda this past weekend. I was thinking it was interesting to see him in a ship that has a similar front to a Tie Fighter.

You'll want Season 6 as well. It goes by the name of The Lost Missions.

What's that one?
That is what we call awkward licensing. Cartoon Network did the first 5 seasons, then it go cancelled. The creative force behind the show, Dave Filoni managed to get a partial season released, but it wasn't via Cartoon Network, so it was released on Netflix first then on Blu ray. The movie was also separate. This is why you would need that box, plus the other two, the movie and the lost missions to see the whole thing. Worth it, but annoying that there isn't a comprehensive set.
headhunters are clone wars ships. i would expect the pace disney will set with new star wars stuff to make looking back into republic and separatist factions a bit overkill.

To be fair, they first appeared in an EU book from 1979 and the design that FFG took for the ship looks a lot more like the X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter Z-95 than the one from the Clone Wars, which was inserted into that show quite a bit later than the aforementioned sources.

I'd disagree that headhunters would be considered prequel or clone wars ships. They first appeared in a book in 1979. Just because they made up a history after the fact, I'd still call them extended universe.

Prequel era ships and much earlier are already in the game. It's the movies that give SOME people a bad taste...a few characters in particular.
Its'll get mandated by Disney soon enough. Too much money to be made. And I will gladly hand over some of mine for it.
'Prequel' ships in XWM:
YT-1300 (specifically the Falcon!)
VV-666
Firespray (Slave 1 no less!)
Z-95 (predates clone wars)
Gozanti transport
Y-wings (BTL-B, which can be simulated with TLT)
CR-90 corvettes
Wow, that's a lot considering this game is supposed to be OT only.
Don't forget the Victory SD in Armada!
Here is the 'official' chronological order via StarWars.com - in which the animated film is third in order

Edited by nathankcThere are worse ways to spend an afternoon than watching the handful of clone-only episodes. Those get dangerously close to legitimate quality science fiction.
