Prequel-free, X-Wing Miniatures are.
Until Disney makes more Clone Wars cartoons then you will find Prequel ships.
Just no...No.
Prequel era ships and much earlier are already in the game. It's the movies that give SOME people a bad taste...a few characters in particular.
Its'll get mandated by Disney soon enough. Too much money to be made. And I will gladly hand over some of mine for it.
If you haven't noticed the Prequel era has been heavily de-emphasized since Disney took control of the license. Look at Battlefront, the first major video game to be released since the acquisition; no prequels content in sight. For that matter I don't think many, if any, of the various mobile titles have included much either, The Clone Wars was killed to be replaced with Rebels... almost everything new since then has been Rebels period or later, even in Fantasy Flight's output(Rebellion, Armada, Imperial Assault, the RPG books, etc.).
Between that trend, the impending new movies, and the continual insistence from FFG that X-wing is a Galactic Civil War period (and apparently now later) game, I wouldn't expect significant, if any, prequels content for X-wing any time soon.

Hound's Tooth was seen in Clone Wars as was Bossk so....it isn't entirely exclusive. Although we of course first saw Bossk in ESB, his ship was in several episodes of CW.
Remember when Yoda said "Wars not make one great!" and he was all wise and told Luke that he didn't need his weapons and was generally above the use of violence as a Jedi?
And then they made him jump around with a laser sword and fly a spaceship with guns.

Doesn't exactly count when it's something that was previously established in the expanded universe and just leant post-Disney Legends legitimacy by an appearance, does it? As you said, Bossk is ESB, but the Hound's Tooth has also been around since books from the 90's, and it appears in the also 90's vintage guide to vessels and vehicles. It's decidedly GCW era EU. Likewise the Headhunter, as has also already been covered.
As far as I'm aware the only thing in X-wing that violates this rule is Captain Kagi, who the Emperor names in one of the prequel movies at some point.
I am not a fan of the Prequel movies, but I love the animated Clone Wars. There is a lot of great content there. I don't think there is a lot of content for X-Wing. I don't care for the ship designs.
However to say Disney has de-emphasized that era is not totally correct. I have seen plenty of advertising for Infinities that has both Anakin and the young Ahsoka (not from Rebels, but Clone Wars). So yes, it is diminished, but definitely not gone. They will cherry pick what is popular or what sells. After all, its all about that merch, bout that merch.
I could see him as a crew card: we just need to find an instance of him on a starship post-Republic.
Perhaps he'll pop up in Rebels mmm?
Snips crew is bound to show up sooner or later.
Rather have him as a crew member like the emperor.
Yoda (8)
Once per round you may "Eheehaehaehahhe," then change one of your opponent's Defence die results to any other result.

Umm...seismic charges?? Also two of the yv pilots are from the clone wars.
Anything that appeared in the EU prior to 1999 is not from the clone wars.
Remember when Yoda said "Wars not make one great!" and he was all wise and told Luke that he didn't need his weapons and was generally above the use of violence as a Jedi?
In hindsight, there was a lot of regret in that. Specifically, I think Yoda regretted going to kashyyyk, and that deep down he knew he did that for personal glory. Had he stayed, he and Mace Windu would have defeated Palpatine.Remember when Yoda said "Wars not make one great!" and he was all wise and told Luke that he didn't need his weapons and was generally above the use of violence as a Jedi?
Definitely. He saw all the "greatness" the Jedi achieved in the Clone Wars as completely useless, because it only furthered the goal of galactic tyranny.
Rather have Obi-Wan.

If you have Netflix, block out your weekend and watch all of the Clone Wars animated. It was all great. Even the movie was decent, but the series was better. The first 3 season weren't totally linear either. You might consider using this guide for viewing order in the first 3 seasons and the animated movie.

Rebels have also been good so far, but I have only seen first first season.
Star Wars Clone Wars - Season 1-5 [blu-ray] [Region Free] https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00APGRMX2/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_LB5swb93ZQKWP
Is that all I need?
that set is missing the final season.
And the movie is separate.
I am not seeing a set that contains all of them. For you to see Yoda piloting the ship, you need the Lost Episodes. I just re-watched the arc with Yoda this past weekend. I was thinking it was interesting to see him in a ship that has a similar front to a Tie Fighter.
And also there are the unfinished episodes they released for Season 6 that are up on YouTube. They cover 2 story arcs and had all the dialog recorded but the animation was not complete.
Yoda and Obi wan should be a crew card. And Obi wan can arguably be a pilot as well. Both are OT cannon for this role.

I do not like it either that R2D2 and 3CPO have to appear everywhere. (Having not seen Clone wars,) Why does R2 do not recognise Yoda on Dagobah, when they have been through a lot of adventures together?
I could see him as a crew card: we just need to find an instance of him on a starship post-Republic.
Perhaps he'll pop up in Rebels mmm?
Also, if one wants to be really lazy and just make him be a Rebel Palpatine...

Rather have Obi-Wan.

He already did, just not physically.I could see him as a crew card: we just need to find an instance of him on a starship post-Republic.

nien, Obi Wan should modify your opponent's results

How do you know r2 doesn't recognize him. He makes no indication he does or doesn't and can't speak.

Luke mostly understands what R2 "says". R2 makes none whatsoever attempt to tell Luke that this is Yoda.
Esp. after Yoda says, "you're searching for, I will bring you there" - at the latest there should R2 mentioned that to Luke (because R2's otherwise not up to pranks).
Then also that R2 and Yoga make a pulling contest for a lamp... ![]()
