Wasn't there suppose to be some announcement by FFG at Worlds about the changes to Organized play? The CEO mentioned it in his presentation at Gencon earlier this year
Was there an announcement about changes to Organized play?
No announcement was made. Word is its on hold till 2016 for some reason unknown.
Someone on a local Facebook group posted a YouTube video with someone named Steve Horvath about a change to organized play. There will be 2 new event types in the next 18 months. That's it. I'm guessing Epic and Scenarios. I'm happy about Scenarios.
Update wasn't quite ready at worlds. Will be out soon according to FFG.

My thread(s, stupid double posts) got buried this morning.
It does confirm my suspicions that the Flight Crew is the first step in their new plans.
The announcement is currently in development. After that it goes into the at the printer phase. Which in turn then hits the boat. After it hits the boat for what will seem like forever.and goes into shipping status we may get an announcement sometime next year. All joking aside I think FFG is doing a great job.
