VI to me works best, but if you have to choose one of the listed it's predator.

PTL, with Mk II engine of course. Other aces get 3 actions, why not Vader?

Out of those 2, Predator. Any card that does not require qualifiers is going to perform more consistently.

outmanuever is very swell, but there's basically nothing you can put in your squad that'll take the enemy's attention away from killing Vader

you're not missing much

PTL without green turns is really underwhelming, except for Sensor corran because he can stack it with r2-d2 and end movement stress-free

Only Tie Adv i'd take PTL on is Maarek and strictly with Ordinance. to assure a hit which more often assures a crit.

In a small list, Lone Wolf might be even better than everything else mentioned here. Other wise, Predator works every time. It works when your stressed! PTL and Predator are popular for a reason.... they are efficient!

No you really don't want Vader to have to be alone. Sure you could try to flank with him but rarely will the opponent not just turn and eat him as he's off on his own without a great way to not just get murdered when focussed.

I disagree. In small lists, as I stated, Vader works VERY well alone. Vader and Soontir (or Whisper) when flown with a distance from one another can cause chaos. This isn't to say that they can't focus fire on the same target because there is more than R2 between them. (Mind you focus fire is not the ONLY or even always the best way.)

Vader with EU is a terror and can fill the same roll Soontir does. Lone Wolf helps make up for the loss of Autothrusters and the 2 shields (and 2 actions without stress) furthers this. Vader is easily one of the best flankers in the game.

I agree. Lonewolf is my upgrade of choice for Vader. Vader+LW+ATC+EU.

You go alone on your side. If you get all the attention, you enter turtle/arc-dodging mode. If you are left alone, you wreck havoc.

Lone Wolf is my favorite EPT on many ship. It takes some time to get use to keeping your distance, but it is highly rewarding. Lone Wolf all the way on Vader, Turr, Poe, Luke, IG-88, Guri, N'Dru... such a great EPT.

As for the choice of the OP, I would go with Predator: With 2 attack dice, it's pretty much as if you always have a TL+the bonus Crit from ATC. It's deadly.

I've got massive amounts of work done with VI Vader so that's my favourite but if the ones listed Predator all the way. Actionless rerolls are always good but even more so with ATC.

I typically use Lone Wolf. If I need to fly him close, Predator if I can afford it, Crach Shot or Veteran Instincts if I can't.

Don't forget that if your opponent decides they have to win the PS race then you can use Vader as a blocker XD

VI is great if you don't want worry about initiative bids against enemy PS9 aces. Choosing VI alone can end up netting you quite a few extra points to use for upgrades on your squad.

Otherwise, Predator - it's practically automatic TL when you're just rolling 2 dice.

Predator all the way, especially if you have ATC. Never want to use TL to reroll dice, losing that crit ability and an action to get that lock in the next round . With TA two dice it means that you are rerolling all or half the dice, even when stressed. Very deadly
