I have bought a few ships simply because of the upgrade cards such as the K-wing. But with how fast FFG creates new waves plus all of my other hobbies, I have to be selective on when and how many ships I buy. The TIE Punisher for example I can do with out (for awhile). There is nothing in there that I think is a must have. Some fun pilots such as Redline though. I probably wont buy the ghost ship either or punishing one unless they have some neat crew or upgrades.

I can live without K-Things for now, although both Crackshot and Glitterstim are tempting. Don't need those for the squads I prefer at the moment, though, so it can wait.

I'm sure I'll buy every non-epic eventually. But I haven't got a Bomber, Decimator, Syck, Hounds Tooth, K fighter or Punisher yet. First priority is the new core set though.

It sounds like you are trying to convince yourself not to buy more ships.

It's okay, I'm in the same boat. I mean, there aren't really any ships I don't want, but I do have to prioritize. I'd like to own one of everything eventually, but not right now. Here are the released expansions I don't own:

In wave 8, I'm only getting one G1-A and one Jumpmaster 5000. After that, I'm gonna have to just sit tight for a while. But hey, I can catch up later, right? Right?

I have a single Agressor, which is more than enough for me and bought more because I wanted to spend some money at the FLGS than anything else.

A single TIE Punisher was enough, bought more for the TIE MK II than for the ship itself.

For the moment I'm quite okay with not having Scyks. Hound's Tooth stays on the christmas/birthday list, as does the YT-2400.

Same with K-Wings.

If starting now, I'd also stay away from TIE Bombers for the time being.

I'd like a second Firespray, but to fly it in Scum I'd also need a second Most Wanted and that is overkil for me, Scum doesn't really bring that much to the table for me.

There's very little I haven't bought.

...and that's about it. Admittedly, Imperials are my third faction (my bitter rival fields Imperials almost exclusively, so I stick with Rebels and Scum in the main).

I'm only really looking forward to the Scum ships in Wave 8 - can't wait for the Punishing One and Mist Hunter.

You don't 'need' the second Most Wanted unless you want to combine Emon with Boba or Kath with a generic. Emon/Kath and Kath/Boba are the more interesting pairings anyways, Boba and Emon get into each others ways since they both become expensive quickly.

none... even if i didn't play at all they make neat "Collectibles" and price wise if you spread it out over time its not that bad. In my younger days i spent waaaay more money going out o clubs. could blow through a yearly x-wing budget in an evening..

I actually try to fly and or use every thing i have from time to time. flying different stuff makes it fun for me. but i do admit I have certain favorites..

I doubt I'd ever play epic, but the Gozanti and Rebel Transport are pretty high on my want list. I like the idea of getting a 4th X-wing and my 6th and 7th TIE Fighters from those ships with the alternate paint schemes. The symmetry between those two and the core set brings a smile to my face.

I also desperately want the Punisher and K-wing for that same sense of symmetry.

But they'll all just be pretty models to me while I go collect bounties.

Huge ships. I don't want to buy a ship for a few cards that come with it (TIE/x1, ATC and Palpatine in Raider and C-3PO in Tantive IV).

I also don't have Aggressor and TIE Punisher. I don't like the look of the Aggressors.

other than it's looks (too cliche, too comic-style - IMO), the hwk is fun. ESPECIALLY the scummy ones. so much fun letting your inner jerk run wild^^

But fans of "original" trilogy will never buy it (but boast custom painted Reds)

I'm still arguing with myself if I should buy a third YT-2400 or not, so I may not provide the best advice here.

I am kinda poor and I am mostly focusing on Imperials only, so I am not really concerned about most of the other ships in the game, though I have picked up a couple from each faction so I can play the game with my friends when they come over.

I aim to get at least one of each. The only ones I don't have at the minute are the Raider and the Rebel Transport; if I didn't suspect I was getting one for Christmas I would have bought it by now! The collecting / hobbling is more important to me than the game itself.

The Tantive. Still haven't played played Epic, I rarely play Rebels, and honestly I don't like C3PO. I also don't have an A-Wing, since there's very little in that pack I'm not getting from Rebel and Imperial Aces.
