I still think the alpha strike of torpedoes can do more for your game than TLT's do slowly....in some games (not a small percentage, but not every game). It's always better to take an enemy ship out quickly.

I've had a lot of luck with Kavil + Predator + TLT. It's as close to two automatic damage as you can get.
(Although I've generally gone with Unhinged Astromech rather than EU.)
Yes, you can use the mech to re-roll just the successes. It makes people like Soontir even harder to be successful. Wait...he does spend his Focus first, right? So, you know you want to re-roll eyeballs, too.
The person that rolled the dice modifies them last.
- Defender rolls evade,eyeball,blank.
- Attacker uses R4-B11 to force reroll of evade and eyeball.
- Defender rerolls and ends up with eyeball,blank,blank.
- Attacker spends focus and evade to make the results evade, evade, blank, blank.
Edited by WWHSDNot convinced. FFG makes too many pilots that makes me wonder why they thought it was a good idea. Case in point the Imperial Aces pack. Its too hard to run interceptors without an elite pilot slot. Those guys would see more table time if they could PTL. If Boba Fett's ability was on some no name bounty hunter in a firespray no one would play him for 39 points. But because it's Boba Fett people force him into a list.

I run Drea with TLT and the title, along two other ships with wingman (and a forth without)... clearing her stress every other turn :-) works surprisingly well, besides clearing stress from Drea (she is not loading 2 stress per turn, actually - well, at least I never rolled that bad to require that so far) it also allows for K-turns without limiting your next move. Had one of the other ships run with PTL for a few games, but that wasn't really hot enough (Khiraz, not many actions to choose from), dumped PtL and go with glitter and crack now :-)
Still wish wingman would be only 1 point, the limitations are pretty harsh (range 1 and start of combat phase), could easily be a 1 pointer without breaking anything.
