I really like this podcast. I listened to episode 3 the other day, and now I'm on episode 1. I like the "Fly Better" philosophy. It's been a mantra of mine ever since I played 40k.

As an aside, did I hear Dallas mention he flew two Defenders in the after-party tournament?! What did you think? I'm a big Defender fan and took two Defenders to Store Championships and Regionals this year.

When I first started X-Wing my first list of four X-Wings I called Mynock Squadron and the name stuck.

Yep! Everyone was a bit fried on Sunday, and I had to leave a bit early to catch my flight. So I went with something simple: Rex+pred+HLC+shield and Vessery+crackshot+HLC+shield. I wasn't expecting it to do amazing, but hey I went 3-0 (on table 1 for two rounds) and had to leave before the 4th and final round. Even got to chat with Alex D. a bit during the tourney since he was pretty happy to see two defenders doing well (let along being played ).

If you ever feel like running it in the future, Lone Wolf is pretty great on Vessery, even if it's not always active. The natural target of the squad is Rex, so he often takes the brunt. The nice thing about Lone Wolf is once Rex goes down, Vessery keeps his offense alive and his defense is actually great, so you make sure that you kill the biggest gun before Rex dies, and then Vessery runs around with effectively 4 green dice protecting 7 hit points, and still throwing really solid damage.

I'll shut up about this now, I seem to do this in every podcast thread I post in. Sorry guys.

Loved this episode like I loved the previous episodes. This one had so much great information on swarms, the inherent Rebel advantage, etc. that I listened to it twice. Please keep producing them.

Re: Bob Randall on Scum and Villainy favoring BTL Y-wings. I'm on NOVA squadron radio - you are probably thinking of Sean Dorcy who has been a proponent of BTL TLT. I favor without the title, although with R3-A2 BTL is certainly auto include!
