I submitted a rules question a few days ago but haven't heard from them back yet.

I have seen it that a bwing was right next to a raider, blue line obstructing fore but closest point of aft in arc was actually going to the gap between the bases just behind the blue line. We ruled this a legal shot as the bwing should be able to shoot at some so large and right in front of it. While the rules may say base to base, I have always played you can measure to the gap as long as you aren't blocked by blue line rules.

The rules for attacking a huge ship says measure to targeted section , so that is not a problem. The question here is the oposite, attacking with a huge ship. In that case there is no special rule to go to and the basic rules are base to base .
