New to armada, will this work?

Not sure about objectives yet, could use some help with tweaking my list.

That MC30 is way too decked out. Drop one or maybe two of those upgrades. Foresight title is a definite must for this list, esp since you're using Mon Mothma.

In general though...I'm not sure how well this would do in wave 2. Those cr90s are fragile with 7 shield and 4 hull! Big ships like the ISD would be able to one shot cr90s with a decent roll. I'm also not sure if this list has enough firepower to take down the bigger ships.

One advantage I see though is that you'll a huge activation advantage! In general, though, I think you need more firepower.

Disclaimer: I'm not a great player, so these are just my opinions...so I might be totally off base here!

Wave 2 ships will eat the small ones for breakfast. I've one-shot a vsd before with a good roll on an ISD. You only have 4 ships, which is not a huge enough number to offset the fact that you only have small/med ships. Most wave 2 lists are 3 ships, which doesnt give you much of an activation advantage to start, and less of one once your ships start to go down...which could be as early as round 2. the squadrons are okay, but you dont have enough carrier-capacity i believe, which means that if the other player has decent fighter coverage, they can spam squadron commands and really put a hurting on those xwings. a few rogue ships, especially bombers, will just bypass your fighters as well. firesprays in particular will mess up your small ships.

if you are going to go small, go light- you would need something like 6-7 ships if youre not bringing anything bigger than an mc-30. go sparse and go big in numbers.

Firstly I would remove the Defense liaison, they are not helpful on a 1 command corvette

Also xi7 will not be worth it on those cr90s since they will only be rolling 2-3 damage anyway, switch 1 for turbolaser reroute circuit drop the other entirely, this leaves you with a naked cr90 Whig is usually the way to go anyway since they are so fragile consider dropping it to a b with overload pulse or dodonnas pride

You want to drop the value of your flagship, I suggest running only mothma and jainas light on it and then Olay keep away with it in order to keep Mothma alive (remember jainas light makes an excellent "sniper" from behind obstacles and other ships)

As mentioned above switch out advanced projector for forsiggt on the mc30 (foresight has a built in mini advanced projector anyway) and lose engineering captain (the 30s engineering value isn't high enough to save you most time anyway) otherwise the shrimp looks good

At this point you will have 12-18 extra points I would drop at least 1 fighter, maybe 2 and upgrade a cr90 to an assault frigate or add a 4th cr90

I was thinking of having the corvettes flank around the back and the mc30 run into the middle with support from the neb. The flagship would just stay behind, snipe, and try not to get destroyed.

This looks better, hopefully it works well for you :)

One last point, I would consider dropping one y-wing and upgrading redemption to an escort so you have at least the one ship capable of activating 3 squads (2 command plus token)
