Does This Make Sense ?

By Old Dwarf, in Runebound

I was never into RuneBound but Rune Wars has me interested,so I just ordered RB & several small deck expansions to get the feel of the terrain sorpresa.gif

Does anyone else do stuff like this?

I purchased Runebound after having played (and loved) Descent. I've never pre-purchased one game in anticipation of another, but I wouldn't preclude the idea that I might do that someday. =)

I rather have gone the other way round. After playing the previous edtion of Talisman thousands of times I decided to descent into Runebound, to get more rewarding experience. And I was right, it is a lot more engaging and entertaing game!

My RB & 3 small expansions were delivered yesterday & I am really pleased with the game,so much so I ordered 3 more small expansions aplauso.gif I have Talisman (3rd ED.) which is a good game but lacks the depth of RB.

I'll probably end up getting most of the RB stuff & runewars too so I guess I found my new money pit gran_risa.gif I have Warhammer Quest so I don't think I'll get into Descent. The odd thing is for years I though RB was a CCG preocupado.gif so I never really checked it out.

LOL. I can see how you'd come to that conclusion with all the small card expansions.

I love hearing about poeple who discover and end up really enjoying Runebound.

Even though there is sooOooo much to remember I love playing Descent
And when I want to play a board game but feel like something 'light' I really enjoy Talisman.

But Runebound is something special. It's just so good!
Maybe because it was my first boardgame that was deeper than RISK lengua.gif
Or maybe it's because the mechanics and variety are just fantastic.
