Got 4 games in last night with Tie Bombers. First game vs. 1 Bomber, 1 Punisher, and the Rapist (Tie FO that gives crits). Cleaned him off the board quite fast. We racked and stacked and I was moving towards a victory with 3 ships (one with 1 hull) when I did something stupid. I picked a red move when stressed. Someone distracted me and I was an idiot. I got flown so I couldn't turn and went off the board with a full health ship. Next, I had a ship with 1 damage and he got hit with 1 hit and 2 crits. Both were DIRECT HIT! Another dead Bomber and my last one had just one hit. The Punisher was down to 2 hull and I died. So funny to ****** defeat from the jaws of victory.
Next played Brobots with my bombers, which I haven't done in a long long time. I learned not to fly in formation. My dice didn't help much, either. After that, it was me vs. 3 Houndstooth. I gave him initiative, which was stupid. I lost after killing one. Never give him the init. Both of these were games that I learned a lot, though, and am very happy to have played. I want rematches.
Ugh, now I'm tired and have a gaming weekend ahead of me. WWII minis, but still fun. pew pew!
