It's likely one of the two reasons. Remember that the Core and Wave 1 were supposed to have a simultaneous launch.

Then Wave 2 was supposed to launch around July.

Everything has been late from the Core to Wave 1, and now to Wave 2.

Part of the problem is in the production side, part of the problem is on the priority side (FA X Wing Core Set I'm sure jumped right to the top of the production queue), and part is probably just misfortune in timing.

They don't want Wave 3 to be like Wave 2 - of course not, the Wave 2 situation is pretty terrible for everyone (mostly FFG.)

So while it is possible they there are FA ships in 3, and it's possible that they are waiting for that reason, I'd bet money that is also because they don't want nearly this long of a wait period again. Not like this.

I think they'll be on shelves by the end of November, or at the very start of December.

And Wave 3 isn't announced, because they want the Armada buzz to be about Wave 2, it may contain Force Awakens stuff, and FFG now don't like announcing stuff more than about 6 months from it's release - barring special stuff like the L5R LCG

I searched for all the wave 2 products and don't see any direct from Amazon information. There is one seller (with an inflated price) selling an ISD, but that's it.

If there was a business where you sold stuff, kept delaying the release, and said nothing about it, you typically wouldn't be in business too long. To me that's common business sense. I quit X Wing for almost 2 years over the lack of product. I would do the same for Armada if it came to it.

on german amazon.de when you open the product site of the english ISD version, there you can find the 24th November right under the product name written in gray and a bit smaller

It's rumored that the products got burned in China in that huge fire a while back. Not sure how accurate it is, but at least it's one explanation.
